I think the title of this layout makes me smile more than ever. While I know there are days that I think may not be the happiest of times, if I sit back and reflect on what's really going on in my life this statement holds true for SURE. Everyday brings happy times even if they are small things. This picture of the kids was from our boat ride on the Potomac River during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Our glimpse of the Cherry Blossoms was pretty sparse after a rain storm came through the day before but we had such a great time as a family on this trip. The day was beautiful and the boat ride was a real treat for the kids.
For this layout I played with the title by using a stamp brush from Happy Every Day and then highlighting each of the words by using a square punch over each word and changing the color. I decreased the opacity on each to make sure the words still stood out. I loved the way this looked and I just matched the colors from the flags at the top and the hexagon punches. I really love that Hexagon punch. I've also wanted to use the cloud embellishments before but could never find a layout to use them on. I thought this layout was perfect.
