Yes, spring is here but not at my house. I woke up this morning with goosebumps! Looked outside and watched it snow. WHAT??? I would have liked to gone back to bed. Instead I stamped with some new friends here. I had a blast. It felt so good to stamp with buddies.
I have stamped all day. I am working on quite a few projects. I am not one to submit work to mags, but I am feeling a little frisky and *think* I might submit a few items. So, if they dont’ make it… I will share here soon!
I wanted to share a blog with you. My sister in law is a demo and fantabulous stamper. She has a new blog that she updates quite regularly and you MUST check it out. She is a stampin’ fool lately. Hmmmm…. wonder where my card is??? *wink* Go HERE….
Sorry there is nothing to share but my babble, but tomorrow should bring good things. I must go to bed and dream about the beach! I need warmth!
**I fixed the link! Sorry friends!

Okay, so I am a little late. I said I would post back yesterday and ended up on the computer most of the day instead of the creating like I wanted. Today was more my creating day. The wind outside was too much for me to take so the kids and I had another day indoors. Looks like tomorrow may be the same. What a bummer.
Anyhoo, I was working on my Scraps in the Mail program. This is a new program I am offering and I am quite excited about it. The unfortunate thing about moving is leaving great friends and great people to teach. I have seen so many other people teach either online or by mail, I thought why not I? This is where my passion of papercrafts lies anyways. I figured until I get my classes going here, why not give it a shot!! I started a Stamps in the Mail program last month and it is going very well. I figured I could give the scrapbooking end a try too. Basically it is a club in the mail. They will do (4) 8 1/2 x 11 layouts each month for a three month period. They get product from me, and Stampin’ Up! to do these great layouts. I think it will be a fun program. If

you want more info, just shoot me an email by clicking on the
link at the top.
Here is one of the things I was working on today. In fact, I was washing dishes when I was hit with this design idea. Literally, I dropped the dish back in the water and had to run and put it together. Ever had a moment like that? Who needs to house clean anyways? I am keeping the memories alive in the household. It should count for something!
Back to the show: I am on a kick to scrap 8 1/2×11 lately. I love this size. It is fast and fun! The idea that came to my crazy head was using the new petals roller in black on Kraft paper. Then adding Cool Caribbean down the side of it. What I was trying to achieve with the title was a circle effect, however that did not come out like I had planned. Close enough and I like the way it worked. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have Big Deal Alphabet. Honestly, it is the best alpha on the market and so perfect for scrapbooking. Not to big, not to small. I also used the Polka Dot and Petals set and used the round circle down the creamy caramel strip stamped in Classic Black. I really like how that turned out. I sponged the edges to make it pop, and then matted it on Cool Caribbean. Such a fresh color. You are probably asking why I chose black for an Easter page. I dunno really, I just wanted to. That is why I love scrapbooking. I can do what I want.

But the Cool Caribbean brought the springy-ness back. I also stamped the polka dot circle along the side of the Cool Caribbean before matting it to give a scalloped edge look. LOVE this element. Although sometimes it is hard to line up, if your stamp is mounted correctly, it shouldn’t be a problem. I also took my paper piercer and poked holes along both edges of the Cool Caribbean. Love that hole maker. giggle! Here is a closer look at that….
Here you can also see the the hodgepodge hardware that I added with a little Chocolate Grosgrain ribbon. I likey a lot! Last, besides adding the pictures, I added the 2003 using the new doodles Alphabet numbers. I punched a label out of my word window punch and placed t

hat underneath then added brads. Since I wanted the layout to flow a little more, I added more brads above the ‘E’s. This kinda follows that rule of thirds and gives your layout the balance that it needs. Plus, it is just plain fun to add them.
Here is a closer look at the bottom of my layout: Strip journaling is pretty popular right now and I thought this would be more fun on this particular page. I really didn’t want to write a story about this day, since honestly I can not remember anything except my son sure was cute that day back in 2003! I did reflect on words I could feel from the picture. Viola! There is the layout! Now, back to some cards. I am so behind on cards!
I hope your week is quite fabulous and you find time to sit and relax! I challenge you to find an old picture and just start scrapbooking. Get your groove on and let everything else go, like the dishes! Happy Hump day!

Yeppers!! Spring Break has started here and I only hope this means warmer weather here. This past Saturday it rained and SNOWED! Then Sunday we were wearing short sleeves at the park. CRAZY weather! We started our spring break at the zoo yesterday and I have never seen so many hills in my life. I could barely walk after I got home. This was a true slap in my face that I am OUTTA shape! Jeesh! The kids had a blast and that is all that counts.
So, I have been busy stamping. In fact, I have a few projects I am working on and will unveil later today. I’ve been working on my Scrapbooks in the Mail program most of the weekend along with some really cute cards for a friend of mine. Both are just about completed. I am a GREAT multi tasker. What mom isn’t? I have to tweek my Scrapbook program and I will tell ya all about it later as well. I think it will be a fun program. You’ll see!!
I believe today will be an indoor day since it is foggy, rainy and down right COLD!
Happy Tuesday… and oh, you know what Tuesdays bring!! Time to get the cleaner out!

I’m feeling JOYFUL today, so I thought I would share a JOYFUL page with you as well. This page is using the Bundle Special that Stampin‘ Up! has going on until the end of this month. To find out more information on this great special, just email me using the link at the top of my blog.
For this page I used Kraft paper (one of my fav’s) and rolled the bottom with the Spring Mini Jumbo roller in Old Olive. I used my White Gel pen and placed little dots within the flowers to make the rolled border pop a little more. My title is stamped using the Big Deal Alphabet. You have heard me say this time and again, I just love this alphabet for the million uses it has. I punched a circle using a 1" circle punch from the spring mini paper Petals and Paisleys and placed it underneath our clear buttons. These buttons are another great accessory as you can stamp on these or place paper underneath for a great patterned button. So fun! I used the flower and sentiment from Polka Dots and Paisleys set and stamped the flower next to my title and added a brad for extra fun! Then added black gingham ribbon to accessorize the page a little more. This layout literally took just a few minutes to make. I love using black and white photos because my brain doesn’t have to match patterned paper with colors pulled from the photos. You can use any colors when using black and white. Makes scrapbooking even easier!!!
For the many of you that have asked, my first event here (stamp a stack) went FABULOUS!!! I was on cloud nine the entire night. The entire event was so organized. The other area demonstrators are just amazing and really know how to put this together. I had 9 ladies that registered and 8 that were able to attend. I believe we all had a GREAT time and I can’t wait to do this again. I love my job! I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I hope you have a GREAT Saturday. I have many thank you cards to stamp so I better get on the ball. It’s a perfect day for stamping. Cloudy and rainy!

Well, I am alive. I have been very busy getting my first event in Colorado ready. My big Stamp a Stack is tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it. I have 8 ladies that will be stamping with me and I could just jump up and down!!! Yippie Yea!!
I’ve also been a little under the weather, but slowly on the mend.

I thought I would show you a great gift idea. You can buy these great wood frames from Joannes, Micheals or really anywhere. I love to catch them on sale. I believe I bought this one for $2. Whoo Hoo! I think these make perfect gifts for teachers or friends. The Doodle This set is a fabulous set to use on a frame. Stamp in Stazon (remember… you want it to Stay-ON!) right onto to the wood. I used markers to color in my images on the frame. To be honest, this could fade with time if left in a window near the sun. Once I stamped the outside of the frame, it was time to do the inside. I used my favorite flower in the set and used a blender pen and ink to watercolor. I just stamped this on Whisper White Cardstock, and blended fast so I would not get the paper boogers. I took summer sun pastels and placed around the inside of the flower to give a little more pop. That is it. Took me about 15 minutes to put the entire frame together including cutting the flower out!! Fabulous gift!!
