Happy Wednesday.  Are you enjoying the passing of time and looking forward to the weekend? After my Mother of the Year moment today when Alexis informed me the Tooth Fairy DID NOT come last night the weekend was looking better by the minute.

This card is a bonus project created for my Stamps in the Mail participants this month.  The From My Heart stamp set has been a great set to work with.  Below you will find all the products I used for this card.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: From My Heart

Cardstock: Summer Starfruit, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla

Ink: Basic Black Craft ink, Soft Suede, Summer Starfruit

Accessories: Crumb Cake Tulle, Pearls, Vintage Brads, Clear Embossing Powder, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, First Edition DSP, Hot Glue Gun, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Sponge, Music Notes Wheel

Must Have Products:

Tip: Heat emboss the image using Basic Black Craft ink and Clear Embossing Powder.  Once it's embossed, try the emboss resist technique by inking your sponge duaber with Summer Starfruit ink and gently rubbing over the "Enjoy" sentiment.  The embossed layer will not catch the ink.  Gently wipe over the image with a tissue to remove any excess ink off of the embossed image.

Are you starting to notice the pattern to my posts lately? That maybe Kimberly finally has a routine? I know, hang on to your pants… It's kinda scary that I would have a routine of any sorts these days.  However, this is ONE place I am finding my groove.  FINALLY.  If you have stuck with me for the almost 6 years I've been doing this you deserve a medal. *smile*

Do you ever crave for a product that Stampin' Up! retired? With MDS 2 you can put those cravings to rest.  This is #1001 reasons I love MDS.  I used a few products on this layout that retired long ago, but I'm lucky to still have them in the Digital format.

You can find all the downloads that I used for this layout HERE

Here are a few MUST have downloads:

Have a GREAT Wednesday and CREATE away!

  1. Kimberly, you are not the only recipient of the Mother of the Year award! The Tooth Fairy has forgotten to visit my daughter before!  My husband said, "Let me double check under your pillow"  and voila he found the money!!

  2. LOL, I love it Jennifer. My girl was pretty dramatic about the entire thing. Go figure. My husband is going to tell her the fairy is on strike. 🙂

  3. Wonderful card…great way to get Summer Starfruit in a close to starring role!   I remember a time when the Tooth Fairy forgot to come by…I think I still have the note the Tooth Fairy left as an apology….lol!   Your page is very nice too…love all of the stars!

  4. such wheely great tricks, tips & laughter! wheely…THANKS big time; my wheeling motion has inproved tremendously; sometimes I use the SU (2 pc.) ruler…remember the 1 we all have tucked away for whenever…yes, that 1; I dig it out every so often & use it; I think I'll convert my brain & hand to wheeling downwards & I'll have wheely better results!!
