I call it Wacky Wednesday because I like to share TWO things on Wednesdays. It's mid week and we need a little extra inspiration to get us through the next two days before the weekend. ***I'm actually on an airplane flying to St. George, Utah for Founder's Circle. I'm SUPAH excited. *** I can't wait to share the fun and excitement with you.
I've had this set- Perfectly Preserved sitting on my desk in the "To Use" pile for longer than needed. I don't know about you but with the amount of stamps I own I like to go through them every so often and pull a few that need attention. Sadly that pile keeps growing. This weekend I plowed through many of these sets and I'm so glad I pulled this set to play. It's the cutest ever and tons of ideas can be made using it. I love the little flower buttons added "into" the jar. Below you will see the supplies I used for this card.
Tip: I stamped and then embossed the Jar using Basic Black Craft ink and Clear embossing powder. I wanted the Jar to stand out just a wee bit more and when you emboss anything it just makes that peace have a WOW affect. I also double looped the ribbon and kept that loop in place using the Antique Brad.
Stamps: Perfectly Preserved
Ink: Black Craft Ink, Island Indigo, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Orchard Harvest DSP, Cannery Framelits Set, Naturals Buttons, Linen Thread, Victoria Lace, Antique Button
While we were in Florida we had family photos taken and this is one of my favorite photos of my Mom and I. I love this lady so much!
I have a PDF you can download HERE of all the downloads I used.
MDS Tip: When you are adding many layers of DSP to your layouts, make sure you are using the Drop Shadow tool to give depth to the layers. Also, on many of my layouts I start my background with Textured Cardstock and then add an Overlay with the opacity at 40% to give the background more texture. Check out the digital overlays that you can purchase in my Digital Store. There are many to choose from.
Thank you for stopping by today. I'll keep you posted about Founder's Circle through my Facebook Fan Page. See below to follow the fun. XOXOXO
