Blissful Dreams

Isn't it the kind of dreams we all want, Blissful ones?  Tonight I am going to share the last Stamp a Stack card we created last week.  Once again I will share two different cards with just a small change.  Both of these are very simple cards with many layers.

The stamp set Bliss from the Sale-a-Bration catalog has seen a lot of mileage in my stamp room already.  This is what I call a classic stamp set where the main image (flourish) can be used with so many other stamp sets. I stamped the flourish randomly over the Very Vanilla cardstock and then very lightly stamped the Sanded Background stamp over using Crumb Cake ink.  Sanded is one of the best texture backgrounds in my book.  In fact many times it's not far from reach on my stamp table.  ;)

As you can see the Bliss sentiment fits perfectly inside the Curly Label punch.  Once the sentiment was punched I gently roughened up the edges using my Cutter Kit.  Do you own this fabulous tool yet? This tool should definitely be added to your basic TOOL supplies.  Just like sugar in the kitchen, it's that important. I added two last embellishments to finish this card.  Ribbon is always a great embellishment but then I added a little more WOWSER to the card with just one beautiful Vanilla Rosette. These are so pretty.  Just so pretty. Here is another version of the card below:

There are only a few changes.  I omitted the Sanded Background and changed the bottom sentiment.  The sentiment can be found in the stamp set Word Play.  These two cards again are simple and easy to duplicate.  What's the best part about the Bliss stamp set? It's FREE with every $50 order during Sale-a-Bration! Now that is EXCITING!!!!  To get all these great supplies you can simply place your order through my Online Store.  It's there you will find the most exciting products!

With all the excitement that Sale-a-Bration brings I still have time for a few Blissful Dreams.  They may be short Blissful Dreams, but I get them.  ;)What are you dreaming about lately?

XOXOXO

Brain Dead!

This girl is just on the brink of brain dead.  Life is good but my brain has had enough this past week.  When this happens the creative process is also DEAD! I went through my "stash" of cards tonight and I found something I was excited to share a few weeks back and it got lost in the other pile of goodies.

This card was 100% inspired by Shelli Gardner.  When I was at Leadership this past January she was on stage showing her projects.  When she showed us a card that was very similar to this one it was like everything stopped and I had to burn the image into my head.  It was just so pretty.

I loved the simplicity of the card and the vintage pretties it has on it.  I used the Easter Blooms stamp set and Springtime Vintage DSP.  Beautiful and elegant is what I would call this combination.  The Scalloped Oval Punch was used to punch the sentiment.  I just love the simple adornment used next to the sentiment.  They come in Very Vanilla, Rose Red, and Baja Breeze. I used a Mini Glue Dot to keep mine in place and it's ROCK solid.  I added the Baja Breeze Seam Binding ribbon which always brings life to any project. You can find all these great products in my online store
I know that this card makes me want spring even more! How about you?

We are still running high on fevers off and on.  It's the strangest virus! If you looked at these two gems they act completely normal unless they are running a fever.  I feel like the thermometer crazy mom! They run when they see me coming with the thermometer in my hand.

You guessed it… No Fever! Let's see how long it lasts.

Have a super weekend and stamp away!
