Spotlighting Technique

Spotlighting Technique

Have you ever wanted to spotlight an image you stamped and really make it stand out?  I was rummaging through a few cards and found an old card from a few years ago that jumped out at me.  It was a card using the spotlighting technique and I fell in love with the technique over again.

I find that I don’t play around with techniques as much as I use to.  Call it lazy maybe, because I know many… just seem to fall in love with an image and then stamp stamp stamp.

After looking at the technique I thought about the All Ye Faithful stamp set and wanted to see if I could spotlight an area with one of the images.

Oh my!  So simple, yet so fun!

All Ye Faithful, Stampin' Up!

You can see how I created this card in the video I created below.

One of my favorite new accessories to use is the Cutie Pie Thinlits. Inside this awesome Thinlit package is this scallop die cut. OHHH WEEE.  I love it so much.

Think of other stamp sets you can use the Spotlighting Technique with such as flowers or our stamp sets with wilderness images.  These would be perfect.
