Shabby Kites

Happy almost Spring day!  Hopefully you are enjoying your official last day of Old Man Winter.  I say "See Ya Later!"  I'm ready for warm weather every day.  Seeing all this sunshine lately reminds me of Colorado. They have beautiful sunshine ALL the time.

Today I have a few shares. My card today is all about Shabby Kites.  The other day I posted a card using the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper.  I feel like we have been reunited and I can't let go of it.  Therefore I made another card using it.  It's so SHABBY!  I wanted to use the set Send Me Soaring because it hasn't been inked enough and I love kites.  I suck at flying a kite, but I sure love how peaceful they are.  Just floating in the air without a care in the world.  Unless of course I'm flying it and then the peacefulness gets wrapped in a tree.  Yep, that is how I fly a kite.

Back to business. <Wait a MINUTE!> There is the CUTEST little chipmunk outside my window.  So chubby and cute!

Seriously, back to business.  Nothing like a shiney furry object for me to lose focus!

Here is the card for today.

I love the clouds in this stamp set because they stamp very clean.  Does that even make sense? Anyhoo, I figured I might as well make the kites really pretty and I added a few Pearls.  Ha.  Nothing like a glitzy Kite.  Maybe if I had one of these in real life it would stay soaring and not end up in a tree??

Here is a list of supplies I used on this card:

Stamps: Send Me Soaring # 125442

Ink: Basic Black, Soft Suede (sponging), Marina Mist

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Confetti, Marina Mist

Accessories: Dotted Scallop Edge Border punch, Linen Thread, Beau Chateau DSP, Soft Subtles Buttons, 1" Square punch, Postage punch, Tulip Embossing Folder, Pearls

I found a sketch I really wanted to use for a Digital Layout on Pinterest last night and came up with this layout.  I'll include the Sketch too.  I would love to see what YOU come up with.  Leave a comment with your link so I can take a peek.
