Plain busy!

Yes, that explains the last 4 days in my house.  Planning, creating, celebrating, teaching and jamming out on the new Guitar Hero World Tour!  Yes, me and the drums are COOL!   Honestly, it has been a complete whirlwind of a week but it’s been good.  We had our birthday party for Alexis on Saturday and my little 6 year old was a princess all day.  She woke up way to early and was ready to party bright and early.  It was so much fun.

During all this craziness, I have stamped lots.  Here are a few projects I can share with you.

Together Forever

I used the Bella Toile Stamp set for the background and added punched circles in the same color over the background stamp.  If you look close, the circles were stamped with the Bella Toile too.  I really love the rich look of Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock.  The rest of the card uses the Together Forever stamp set.  One of my favorites.  I stamped the large flower circle in chocolate chip and punched the inside circle with a 1 3/8 circle punch.  Then I punched the entire thing out using the 1 3/4 circle punch.  Then I stamped the flower onto another piece of cardstock in Riding Hood Red and placed it behind the chocolate chip piece.  Love how the Pretties Kit added a delicate touch to this card.

Now this project is one I did for a recent stamp camp.  This cute box was inspired from one of my demos here in Colorado Springs, Sam.  She is super talented and she made me a box similiar to this at Christmas.  I thought it would make a great little box to put love notes inside.

I used the Love Wheel on the Top Note Die and then added a little glitter inside the hearts.  The heart on the flap of the box comes from a new Level 2 hostess set.  Isn’t that a fun heart?  It will be even more fabulous when I get my heart punch to punch it out.

Here are the love notes to go inside the box.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing the “how-tos” for the box!! What a super great idea!!

When you have a chance, I’d love to know the “how-tos” for the little candy holders with the Choxies that you posted on 12-26-08. I think they’d make great Valentines! Did you use SU cello bags? If so, what size?

Thank you for sharing. I love your blog!

  2. Once again out of the park. Too cute and although I love Chocolate Chip with the various pinks, I never thought about using it with RHR. Glad Alexa and you enjoyed her birthday!

  3. Wow – this is awesome! I followed a link from Dannie Graves website to your blog, and I’m so glad I found you- you have awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing the directions for this supercute box!
