Don’t you think our world needs a little more love? Why not keep handmade LOVE cards around ALL the time?
You all know I’ve been known to drop the Prince a love card or two outside of Valentines day and our Anniversary. I want him to know he is LOVED all the time. As paper crafters we tend to keep those love cards just for that type of occasion. Let’s break the habit, shall we?
Today’s card was meant to post on Friday but I had my hands tied in other activities. It’s called children. <grin>
This card was made for convention and part of the Displays. I was pretty excited to get to make cards using an upcoming stamp set from the Holiday Mini. Seasonally Scattered is a beautiful set but I won’t lie… it was a bit hard in the beginning to work with this set. Once I had the creative flow going there was no stopping. This set will be great for card makers, memory keepers, and even those who love to create home decor using rubber stamps.
One trick for this card is the raveled twine under the ribbon and banner. You will laugh when you hear where I found that beautiful twine.
If you have used our beautiful Canvas Creations you know that you can pull on some of the strings and VIOLA have some really cool twine. That’s exactly what I used on this card. It was sitting on my desk from a project I had used while working with the Canvas Creations. I looked at it and said… PERFECT! I love how it looked and especially that it was white.
The XOXO greeting came from the Project Life Remember This stamp set on Page 27 of your catalog. LOVE how this photopolymer stamp set made lining up the image PERFECT. With the addition of the wooden arrow embellishment this card was ready for LOVE.
