It’s the little things that excite me!

I’ve been super duper busy getting ready for all kinds of classes over the past few days!  Phew.  It’s been busy!  Today I had my Open House for my FABULOUS hostesses and customers.  I love my Open House as it gives me a chance to give back, so to speak.  It’s a laid back time for them to come and see new project ideas and I also provide lunch for my past hostesses.  It’s all about them.  A hostess is truly the heart of my business.  She works hard to invite her guests and then we have a fun time making our projects.  Anyways, we had a great lunch and then jumped into fun new projects using the Big Shot.  Now, I have to admit I wanted to jump on a plane to MI on Thursday to kiss my friend Jackie for sharing the cutest projects with me.  Each project she made just had to be duplicated and today these projects got the WOWSER factor. Check this cute thing out!

Scallop Envelope Box

I just love "out of the box" type projects and this is one of them.  A FABULOUS box using the Scallop Envelope Die.  The litlte birdie is from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlets.  This almost created a pooie situation in my stamp studio.  You know… the moment when they GASP!  Seriously, this is how I reacted.  See, it’s the little things!

After they left, I had a left over box that needed some attention.  I created this:

Isn’t this a fun Spooky Treat box?  My kids thought it was the best thing I have ever made.  I believe it had to do with the lollipops.  Jeesh!

My friend Jackie also shared this little gem of a project.  I copied hers almost exactly except I changed the ribbon and colors.  Since we are approaching FALL fast here in Colorado, I wanted a Fall-ish look.

Top Note Card

Here is a close up of the bow.  I just love these fun new bows.

I love that Pocket Silhouettes stamp set.  You can make the best cards with this stamp set.  I love how the Square Scallop punch worked with the 1 1/4 Square Punch.  It’s a tight fit, but I like it.

I hope you have found a little inspiration here tonight.  After a fast and furious weekend I am closing the studio a little early tonight and heading up to watch tv in the bed.  Back to creating tomorrow.  I hope you found time this weekend to stamp something GREAT!
