Don’t Give Up!

Don't Give Up!

Boy, oh Boy!  Regardless of the situation Don't Give Up!  This has been the family mantra the last 5 days.

There is GREAT news to report.  We arrived in Pensacola yesterday around 1pm.

Florida

We stopped on the side of the road like tourists to get our picture.  The funniest thing is we never get a pic with all of us in it.  Russ decided that wasn't going to happen this time.  He asked some strange man to come take our picture. <love him>

As soon as we arrived the kids ran to my parents and hugged them tight and said, "we are not here for a vacation!"

I need someone to pinch me. I can't believe we are here.

Today is another big day.  We just closed on our house.  Keys are in hand and we are over the moon.  Now starts another big process… home renovations.

Before I have our household goods delivered we need to finish a few things in the house.  We are getting ready put wood floors, carpet and paint the house.  It's going to be a busy two weeks.

Tomorrow I'm going to register the kids for school.  I can't believe they start on the 19th of this month.  Crazy!!

Thank you again for your continued support and prayers.  You truly are the best.

P.S. I'm hoping to unload the mobile stamp room in the next couple of days.  WHOO HOOO!!!

  1. What good news, home safe and sound   Can hardly wait to see the new house and all your handi work in getting it ready.  Take care, don't overdo and God Bless you all.

  2. So glad you finally arrived in Pensacola!  As someone in the middle of a rather large home renovation, I will keep you in my prayers!  Last Thursday we had eight hours of jackhammers in our basement, kind of hard to be creative!  Hope it all goes smooth for you guys!

  3. Kimberly, Congratulations on your new house in sunny Florida! What a great photo to capture the arrival! I'm sure your new place will feel like home in no time, especially with your family so close by. Thanks for bringing us along on your trip!

  4. What a trip!  I hope you get to relax with mom for a day or so before all the renovations begin.  I've enjoyed your daily, crazy, journal Kimberly.  Carry On my stamping friend.  Can't wait to see pics of the new spread after all is fixed up.  I'm so happy you got to go HOME!

  9. So glad you are home safe and sound. Nice picture 🙂 At least the kids have a week before they have to go to school, which is good. I hope they like the schools and meet tons of new friends. Maybe because they start early, they will get out early. When my son went to school, which was a vocational school, he used to have to go a week before everyone else, but he got out a week earlier, so that was awesome. Have fun renovating 🙂 Hope everything goes smoothly and quickly.

  10. Congratulations on making it to Florida.  I bet you are so glad that you are going to be near your folks!  Good luck with your home renovations.  The strength God has given you is amazing!  What a great family photo!! 🙂 Hugs.
