Chocolate & Valentines = Happiness!

Besides thinking of my Prince during Valentines my mind always goes to Chocolate.  Oh how I love Chocolate.  The funny thing is my Prince and my son do not prefer it.  At all!  Crazy!  Today I have a little card to share that has the chocolate surprise inside the card and a fun fold.  Check this out.

I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Melon Mambo cardstock and with the 11" side at the top of your Fiskars trimmer I scored it at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4.  Fold on all your score lines and embellish as you wish.  For this card I used the new Original 3" Circle Die Cut (122125) with the Pink Pirouette cardstock.  What a great addition this die is to our already AMAZING Die Cut line.  The smaller Early Espresso Die Cut uses the Circles #2 Die Cut #114526.  I stamped the image from the Eat Chocolate stamp set #122006 in Early Espresso and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch.  This is still available and makes me stamp happy!  Before I assembled this to my card I used Sticky Strip under the 3" Pink Pirouette circle to layer three pieces of ribbon.  I trimmed each of the edges for a clean look.  The Designer Series Paper that I used on the front and inside of the card is from the Brights Collection (Melon Mambo) Designer Series Paper Pack.  Love these.  Great designs and all the colors that you need.  I placed my yummy chocolate inside the card with Mini Glue Dots and it's ready to be sent.  One added tip to share: Because the chocolate makes the card a little bulky I placed a small piece of velcro under the Pink Pirouette cardstock to keep the card closed.

Hope your day is going fabulous.  It's HUMP day! I am so ready for the weekend already.  I miss the days of sleeping in.

XOXOXO
