A couple of days ago you will remember I showed you the treat holder I demonstrated at my workshop. You can see it again HERE. I promised a video and I have it ready for you. There is a funny in it, as always. Jeesh!
Instead of doing the same ole treat I switched it up and created a little treat for Halloween. My poor kids are so confused with the holidays right now. Alexis does NOT understand why I am creating for Halloween so soon. Brandon thinks Christmas is next month! So funny!
Accessories: Decorative Label punch (Holiday Mini), Glimmer Brads (SO fun, coming in the Holiday Mini), Markers: Tangerine Tango, Concord Crush, Basic Black, Vintage Trinkets, 1 1/4 Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Border Scallop punch, Chocolates at Costco…
In other news, I am trying to get my kids ready for school. You know the drill- haircuts, school clothes and school supplies. Tonight as I put my boy to bed we had a deep chat. More like another life lesson. I have to admit that I love bedtime because it seems to be the time my kids really open up and chat. Probably because they don't want to go to bed! Tonight's conversation was so sweet. It was all about making new friends. He's nervous and misses his friends in Colorado. I wiped away little tears tonight and shed my big tears later. Again, this will all be water under the bridge soon. Friends will be made and we will laugh about all this soon. With our other moves the kids were smaller and meeting new friends was all relative. Now that they're a little older this is a HUGE issue. I'm excited for the school year to start so they can meet new buddies. I think the first day of school will be memories like their first day of Kindergarten. Bittersweet. I'll be nervous for them myself.
Enjoy the video and we'll meet up again in a few days-possibly tomorrow if I can get myself together.
Hello GREAT stampers! Tonight I am super excited to share another video of more burning questions. Again, please keep in mind that these are just my personal opinions and experience. I don't claim to be any type of coach. I do however LOVE to share with you and my customers! So here are the videos for today. I hope they can help you with your business.
I am also excited because my stamp room is ALMOST complete. I just have a few last details and it's READY! It seems like it's taken forever but it wasn't the only room that needed help in this house. In fact, over the weekend I finished Alexis room and we are both so excited about it. She is only 7 and really wanted a big girl room. The theme we went with is Rock n Roll. SO up my Alley. It really looks fun and we put up lots of Decor' Elements Guitars which are now retired. They look fantastic on the wall and I really love how awesome our Decor' Elements go on so easy. Alexis thinks it looks cool and that is all that matters. I'll get some pictures for you.
Tonight's creative piece is something I received in the mail and I have to share it. I call this VERY happy mail!!! This beautiful card was made from my downline Mary. I just love her and LOVE this creation. Thank you Mary!
I hope your week is going WELL and your stamping away! See you tomorrow!
Good evening! Now that things have settled down a bit, I finally got a chance today to make the video for the Valentine Box I shared with you a few weeks ago. Thanks to my friend Christy (now AKA Snookie), she helped me out today. Whoo Hoo! Let's take a look back at the box:
This box was shown at the Phoenix Regional however just a bit smaller. This box can hold 4 x 4 cards. Love it.
Watch this video to learn how to make it. Remember, if you subscribe to my blog in a reader you will have to go to my website to view the video!
I hope the video helps you make some cute Valentine Boxes.
Now, just a little update. My little girl is doing great. Thank you for all of the get well wishes. It made her smile. It's still healing but you wouldn't know she had a boo boo unless you asked her. She is up and running (without scissors) again!
I have a new card to share. I made this card at my Diva Night. I will call this card the all-nighter. It seriously took me all night to make it. Has that ever happened to you?
I used a couple of stamp sets for this card. The main image comes from the stamp set Chic Boutique. It's such a cute stamp set. Very CHIC! I added a few silver beads, gems and glitter. This made it even more a CHIC card. The background image comes from Friends 24-7. GREAT set. The stripes on the bottom of the card is called Solid Stripes. You can find that stamp in the back of the New Mini Catalog. I love it.
We landed safely in Florida and the humidity was the first thing I felt. My hair went completely flat once I got off the plane. Not pretty!!! Who could really care when my kids sprinted to Nene's arms. Quite a scene. We had a day filled with Gingerbread houses and Gingerbread peeps. They decorated them so nicely…
I cannot believe it's been a year since I have been home. It's so great to see my family. My brother is here and it was so great to be with his little family. My 4 year old niece taught me ballet tonight. My sweet brother took video. I may have to upload it just to give you a laugh of the century. The worst part was my niece telling me that I wasn't so good. So funny.
Anyways, I have another fun video to share with you. This is another club project we did last month. With so many of my friends getting sick recently, I thought this little project would be fun to make them. Sadly, they are all better now and never received it. Just another story of a Stampin' Up! demonstrator hard at work. LOL! Let me share…
This little 3-D project holds a few tissues and a tea bag which is just perfect for someone with a cold. I love how the stamp set Friends 24-7 is perfect for any occassion. I also love how Ruby Red, Blush Blossom, Soft Suede and Kraft cardstock is just YUMMY!!! So pretty! Ready to make this project? Watch the video here:
I have a few last minute Christmas shopping ideas to finish tomorrow. Oy boy. Looks like I will be braving the streets tomorrow. Ack. I will keep the Christmas spirit and keep a big ole' smile on my face. Hope you have a sensational week.
It's been sooooo long since I posted last. Crazy times in our household. We are getting ready to travel for Christmas and I am pleased as punch. I've been trying to pack, finish up business loose ends and get the kids ready for a fun filled few weeks at Nene's (my mommy!) house. Super excited about a bunch of things I have ready to show you. I want to share some fun club projects this week and I even have a few videos to share. YIPPIE!!!!
So, here is a pic of a project that we did in my November clubs. Gotta love the Fancy Favor Box!
