Spring is Really Here!
I really think Spring is FINALLY here. I frantically went through my shoes today to find my FAVORITE flip flops. Although my feet look awful and sickly pale I didn't care. I was letting these feet of mine breath. They have been stuck in either my UGG's or Tennis Shoes the entire Winter. VA is actually going to reach the 70's. WHOA!
I love the picture of my daffodils because #1 they are alive. How this silly plant has survived this year is beyond me. With our whacko weather it's been snowed on in FULL bloom and even hailed on. It's crazy but they are so beautiful and bright.
Do you have a favorite Spring plant? Honestly, my favorite are the ones that come back. Ha! Low maintenance for a high maintenance kind of girl!
My layout today uses one of my favorite downloads- Spring Break ll. The Designer Paper is beautiful as well as the stamps and embellishments.
Watch the video to see how I created the overlay over the photo on this layout.
This is the Spring Break ll Digital Kit below.
Look at the beautiful polka dots in the DSP. Even better are the stamp brushes. *love*
Okay, time to hop along and see what the other great gals are up to.

21 Days Forms a Habit…
You've heard this saying before, right? Do something or quit something for 21 days and you form a habit? I thought I would share a little 21 day journey that I'm currently involved with. I've even dragged a few friends with me. I believe that together you become MORE powerful when you are trying to make a change.
As you know a few weeks ago I was pretty sick with that icky awful sinus infection. During that time frame I knew that many things could be contributing to my "I just don't feel GREAT" self. My jeans don't fit like I want, I wasn't exercising and water intake is just not my gig. I could list about 10 more things but then I would REALLY be telling on myself!! Since I turned 40 my entire mind and body has been going through these CRAZY changes. Oh my heavens!
An online friend started her 21 day challenge while I was sick. She kept posting her journey on Instagram and every day I would read it. It became an obsession to watch for the posts to come through and her message was ALWAYS so inspiring and uplifting. I hadn't moved a muscle off my chair and already my brain was starting to "feel better!" Pretty powerful, really!
8 days ago I started my journey to get back in control of my physical self and I knew that my emotional and mental self would follow suit. I was 100% right. The journey has not be easy at ALL. Remember, the words "workout" or "Exercise" have not been muttered from my lips EVER. Like 40 years EVER! They still don't come out EASY. But that's okay. It's part of my journey. I thought I would share a little bit of my journey with you in the photos that I post on Instagram. I also made a little "Pennant" book for myself to keep in front of my face with little motivating facts and quotes.
You can follow along my journey HERE with Instagram. I *heart* Instagram!
You can bet this 21 Day Challenge will be plopped directly into a scrapbook!
To keep my journey STRONG, I wanted something that I could pick up when I'm feeling defeated or discouraged. Motivational quotes are always uplifiting to me. I put together this fun little Pennant book filled with a few of my favorite quotes and the This and That Epic Day product line was PERFECT to use with the inspirational quotes on the stickers. *LOVE*
I can only hope that my little journey inspires someone else along the way. Regardless, I'm glad you've always been a part of of my journey's and adventures. Lord knows my life is an adventure.
Want to create a little Pennant book yourself? Start with the This and That Epic Day Bundle. Watch the video as I walk you through each page:

I have a quick video today showing you how to make this pie graph using circle and triangle punches. It get's better! Heather did a video as well showing another way to make the pie graph.

Easter Bunny and Gift Card
Happy Friday! The kids Spring Break is ZOOMING by and Easter has crept up on me so fast that I had a little panic last night. Of course I'm NOT prepared at all and this should surprise NO one. I'll be the lady zipping through all the isles quickly to find last minute Easter things to fill my kids baskets. Happens every year.
Since the kids are getting older and I would love to keep the baskets with LESS candy in them I decided I would make them each a little bunny card with an iTunes Card inside for them.
Watch the video and you can see how I made this sweet little guy and the banner using Stampin' Up! punches.
On the fence about the This and That Bundle? The Designer Series Paper in this bundle is really EPIC. Great colors, GREAT designs and perfect for even an Easter Card. Click HERE to see all that the Bundle has to offer.

MDS Blog Hop with This & That
Time for the MDS Blog Hop. Everything crazy digital & hybrid today.
Yesterday Stampin' Up! released new digital goodies that were over the top. I just fell in LOVE.
The new This and That Epic Day launched over the weekend and it's just smashing to look at it.
With the added Digital goodies that match THIS sweetens the pot even more.
I couldn't help but create right away with the This and That Epic Day Digital Kit.
Watch the video below to see all the GREAT fun in this Digital Kit.
Download the PDF Supply List for this Layout HERE.
I decided to give my e-cutter a whirl with the large SVG label stamp brush in this kit. WHOA!
I used one of Stampin' Up!'s notecards and placed two of the *FUN* washi tapes from the This and That kit across the Notecard and stamped a swirly gig from the Creative Elements stamp set (122647).
Then it was time for adding a few layers. First the die cut label. *CA-UTE!*
I cut a small piece of the doily and placed it across the label and added the Natural ribbon over it. Don't forget to tatter the edges a bit.
To complete the card I punched a piece of Vellum using the 1 1/4" scallop punch. I placed a 1" Basic Gray circle punch underneath to give it a little more depth. Using the A Round Array stamp set (129090) I punched one of the scalloped images using the 7/8" Scallop punch. Again, just wanting to add a little depth.
The last thing to add was the A Round Array stamp (129090) and I inserted that into the tiny Soda Pop Cap.
*Perfect*
*Supplies*
Stamps: Creative Elements (122647), A Round Array (129090) Cardstock: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Vellum
Ink: Pool Party, Basic Gray Accessories: MDS This and That Epic Day Digital Kit (133465), MDS (130646), (Notecards (107311), Soda Pop Tops (129388), Paper Doilies (129399), Epic Day This and That Designer Stickers (131271), Epic Day This and That Washi Tape (131269), Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon (129287), 7/8" Scallop Circle (129404), 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch (127811)
Time to see what the other Digital Designers have up their sleeves and hop to the next digital project!
