Valentine Box Video Tutorial

Good evening!  Now that things have settled down a bit, I finally got a chance today to make the video for the Valentine Box I shared with you a few weeks ago.   Thanks to my friend Christy (now AKA Snookie), she helped me out today.  Whoo Hoo!  Let's take a look back at the box:

This box was shown at the Phoenix Regional however just a bit smaller.  This box can hold 4 x 4 cards.  Love it.

Watch this video to learn how to make it.  Remember, if you subscribe to my blog in a reader you will have to go to my website to view the video!

I hope the video helps you make some cute Valentine Boxes.

Now, just a little update.  My little girl is doing great.  Thank you for all of the get well wishes.  It made her smile.  It's still healing but you wouldn't know she had a boo boo unless you asked her.  She is up and running (without scissors) again!

I have a new card to share.  I made this card at my Diva Night.  I will call this card the all-nighter.  It seriously took me all night to make it.  Has that ever happened to you?

I used a couple of stamp sets for this card.  The main image comes from the stamp set Chic Boutique.  It's such a cute stamp set.  Very CHIC!  I added a few silver beads, gems and glitter.  This made it even more a CHIC card.  The background image comes from Friends 24-7.  GREAT set.  The stripes on the bottom of the card is called Solid Stripes.  You can find that stamp in the back of the New Mini Catalog.  I love it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a  GREAT Thursday!

The Ship Landed!

We landed safely in Florida and the humidity was the first thing I felt.  My hair went completely flat once I got off the plane. Not pretty!!!  Who could really care when my kids sprinted to Nene's arms.  Quite a scene.  We had a day filled with Gingerbread houses and Gingerbread peeps.  They decorated them so nicely…

I cannot believe it's been a year since I have been home.  It's so great to see my family.  My brother is here and it was so great to be with his little family.  My 4 year old niece taught me ballet tonight.  My sweet brother took video.  I may have to upload it just to give you a laugh of the century.  The worst part was my niece telling me that I wasn't so good.  So funny.

Anyways, I have another fun video to share with you.  This is another club project we did last month.  With so many of my friends getting sick recently, I thought this little project would be fun to make them.  Sadly, they are all better now and never received it.  Just another story of a Stampin' Up! demonstrator hard at work.  LOL!  Let me share…

This little 3-D project holds a few tissues and a tea bag which is just perfect for someone with a cold.  I love how the stamp set Friends 24-7 is perfect for any occassion. I also love how Ruby Red, Blush Blossom, Soft Suede and Kraft cardstock is just YUMMY!!!  So pretty! Ready to make this project?  Watch the video here:

I have a few last minute Christmas shopping ideas to finish tomorrow.  Oy boy.  Looks like I will be braving the streets tomorrow.  Ack.  I will keep the Christmas spirit and keep a big ole' smile on my face.  Hope you have a sensational week.

Gone so Long!

It's been sooooo long since I posted last.  Crazy times in our household.  We are getting ready to travel for Christmas and I am pleased as punch.  I've been trying to pack, finish up business loose ends and get the kids ready for a fun filled few weeks at Nene's (my mommy!) house. Super excited about a bunch of things I have ready to show you.  I want to share some fun club projects this week and I even have a few videos to share.  YIPPIE!!!!

So, here is a pic of a project that we did in my November clubs.  Gotta love the Fancy Favor Box!

Good afternoon ladies,

Today I wanted to share a fun project that you can do for any holiday!  Since Halloween is just around the corner I chose to make some really cute Halloween Gum Wrappers.

Here is a video tutorial on how to make these cute gum wrappers as well as the yo yo’s that I have placed on the outside of the gum wrapper. I think in the video I said I used Creepy Crawly DSP.  That is just a new name I made up! LOL!  It’s actually Cast a Spell DSP (115677)

The lighting is terrible on this video, but you will get the idea on how to make them.  Below you will find the materials I used to create the Gum Wrappers!

Cardstock: Basic Black  ( 102851) 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 (score at 1/2, 2 1/2, 3, and 5)

Inks: Basic Black Craft (102192) & Classic Ink (101179)

Stamps: Haunting Hill Jumbo Wheel (116539), Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370)

Accessories: Cast a Spell DSP (115677), Chunky Essentials Glitter (108797) Long Board Chipboard (114320), Mini Library Clips (109857), Tombow Adhesive (110755), Clear Embossing Powder (109130), Anywhere Glue Stick (104045), Horizontal Slot Punch (105089), Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon (109064), Sissix Circles #2 Die Cut

Don’t forget to check out my NEW class to go: A Trip to the Graveyard!  It’s super CUTE

Enjoy making these!  They are addicting!

If you are a Big Shot owner, the Top Note Die Cut (113463) is one of my absolute favorite die cuts hands down.  There are so many wonderful things you can do with the die cut and it has never ending uses.  For those of you that are new to this die cut, I believe it’s like the Flour/Sugar in your kitchen.  You just HAVE to have it.  Watch the video below to learn how to make these amazing little medallions and ENJOY!
