Dressing Up Stampin’ Up! Style!
When I was little I *LOVED* playing dress up. The funny thing is my love affair with dressing up hasn't changed as I've gotten older.
There is something about getting all dolled up. It makes me feel a little bit taller you might say. This is probably the case because most days I love to sit in my yoga pants! What about you?
Dressing up is even more fun now with Stampin' Up! and their new All Dressed Up Bundle.
I paired this bundle with the Pop-Up Posie Designer Kit and went to town. The little dress forms are so fun and girlie.
To create the frame I had a small peg board and I ruffled the ribbon around it using the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon and a Glue Gun. The Cotton ribbon is a carry over item from the Holiday Mini. Love that.

I'll have another video showing another dress form tomorrow.
You can find all the products to make these dress forms in my Online Store.

Now I want to share another layout from my December Daily album I'm working on. I'm a few days behind.
My sweet daughter was super kind and shared her illness with me so not all of my cylinders are firing.
Okay, so maybe they don't all fire on a good day… the point is I'm behind. Darn!
This layout doesn't look "Christmas" but it's part of my album.
This layout uses lots of new downloads and one is also a sneak peek from the Mini Catalog.

All Tied Up? Fun Fold Card
Good morning stampers! I have a fun card I wanted to share with you today. This is a fun fold card using the Labels Collection Framelits (#125598) and a Father's Day Card. This big day is just around the corner. Are you ready?
To make this card I started with a 4 1/2 x 12 piece of Riding Hood Red Cardstock. I folded that in half and ran in through my Big Shot using the Labels Collection Framelit. It was the second to largest Die in this collection. Once through the Big Shot I scored the card once more 2" from the center score line so the card folded up to create an easel card. Once I had all the score lines it was time to stamp.
I used the Best Dad Ever stamp set (#120681). Such a great Father's Day set. I started by stamping the ties on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink and then stamped them again using Marina Mist ink onto a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. I used my snips to cut out three ties and popped these up using Dimensionals. I used two of the sentiments and cut each of the words to fit my card. The large Scallop is from the Perfect Pennants Die Cut (#123126). I love this scallop and use it often. I layered a 2 1/2" Circle punch onto the Scallop and this is what helps to keep the card standing. Lastly, we have an awesome ribbon that I have barely used this year and decided to pull it out and start using it. WHY did I wait so long to use my Scallop Dots Ribbon? Silly. For this card, I just wanted to show the small scallop edge on the top half of the card. You will see it underneath the Crumb Cake cardstock.
I hope this inspires you to use this awesome set. If you don't have it yet there is still time to get it before Father's Day. You can find it HERE.
Have a GREAT WEEK!

Purse-onally Speaking!
When this die cut arrived at my house the first person to SQUEAL with delight was the one and only American Girl Doll Lover…. Alexis. You could hear that child scream for miles. She was so excited that she could make ANY kind of Purse for her American Girl Dolls. Stampin' Up! had no idea they made a little 9 year old so stinkin' happy. This die cut is just too cute. It's great for any party favor. When I was in Michigan a few weeks ago one of our team members, Dawn showed us her darling purses that she had made and she used our Stampin' Up! fabric. I thought she was a genius. I loved how the fabric made the purse look more "real" so to speak. My stamp club made these darling purses and loved how quick and easy they are to put together. We took the Sizzix Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and adhered the fabric to them before placing it on the Big Shot. I used a piece of cardstock on the front flap to make the purse a little stronger and I wanted to stamp on the front just a wee bit. We then just added a few ribbon embellishments to make this purse a little fluffy and girlie. We used the Styled Beautiful stamp on the front flap as it was just enough to add a little stamping touch to it. Lastly, a little Antique Brad topped it off. You will be able to order this new die on June 1st. It's SUPER exciting.
Now Alexis has her first American Girl Doll purse. I'm sure this won't be the last.
Here is another layout for my Disney Album as well:

Use Your Supplies!
Confession time! A month or so (could be longer..) I held a class called "Card Buffet." It was a class where I had about 20 cards on display and my customers could make any 5 cards from the designs I had displayed. I loved this class but at the end of it I noticed I had a few LOT of kits left over. The cardstock is already cut and ready to go, I just needed to get busy and stamp. For the most part this is not an issue because I just make up the rest of the cards and it leaves me a ton of cards that I can send out myself (which by the way I am SOOOOO behind on!!!) Anyways, one of the cards I had leftovers for was an Easter card. Remember this one?
Since Easter has passed I didn't want to make more Easter cards so I took the pre-cut cardstock and challenged myself to come up with a different card. Here is what I came up with.
I chose the exact same design, just a different stamp set. I love the stamp set Send Me Soaring. It's in the Occasions Mini Catalog and it's one of those stamps that you can color, paper piece, or just do solid stamping with. I love the sentiments too because it covers many things. The clouds are cute as can be!!! I love the crisp lines that this set has. Check it out:
You can even get this set in Digital Form. I REALLY love that.
Overall, my point is this… Make the most of your supplies. Do you have pre cut cardstock, DSP or pre cut ribbon laying around? Challenge yourself and make a card. For me the biggest challenge is putting a stamp on the envelope and SENDING the card. Anyone up for the challenge? I would love to see your creations. I am going to challenge myself to send out 5 cards tomorrow. WOW!!
You can find all of these great supplies in my Online Store. Don't forget to check out the Retired Lists. Items are going FAST! If you love 12 x 12 Textured Cardstock, stock up. If you love Craft ink (LOVE, LOVE it!!) stock up. Craft ink is being discontinued expect for Black and White.
Have a GREAT FRIDAY!
P.S. I have two kids that are OVER the TOP excited as we leave in a few days for Disney. Alexis can barely contain herself. Seriously she cannot focus on anything! She is SO excited to see a friend that she has been pen paling with and just cannot believe she is going to Disney. We are thankful for Stampin' Up!, my customers and downline who make things like this trip even possible. I am looking forward to spending time with my family watching my kids relax and have fun. They deserve it.
I will be posting while I am away. In fact…. I've already posted ahead of schedule. I know you just FAINTED! I'm NEVER this organized. I plan to share our trip with you if you don't mind. You know it's always an adventure when I travel.
Thank you for always supporting me, my business and my family. Sending 1000 hugs and kisses to YOU my awesome readers!
