You are probably asking yourself, "what in the world?" What does this title stand for? Let me tell you how my world changed in a split second on Sunday!
My Alexis LOVES to play with Stampin' Up! boxes. Believe me, there are plenty that make it through my door. She loves to decorate them, and color them. She had a friend over on Sunday and her and the friend were playing with the boxes. They were using their imagination and making a cool club house. I thought it was awesome. Just a few minutes later I heard screaming. It was Alexis! The friend was poking a hole through the box using CHILD SAFE scissors and Alexis was on the other end of the hole. The scissors poked her eye. OUCH! The nurse in me FROZE! (yes, I was a nurse prior to Stampin' Up!) I could see blood in her eye and that scared me. We dropped everything and went to the ER. I am so thankful I had a girlfriend working in the ER that night. Not only did she make my little girl calm she made me calm. I needed that. {I love you Lisa!} Long story short, Alexis is going to be fine. She did lacerate the sclera of the eye (white part of your eye). It's still looks awful. Her vision is fine. Thank God! All this craziness happened on Sunday! Monday was a day of going to see an eye Dr. What a MESS! Again, I am just thankful she is okay. Poor Russ. Nothing is worse than hearing the frenzy over a phone. I kept him in the know at all times but I know it still hurt not being here. For me, his calming voice was like a GIANT prozac pill. Of course, that is typically what he does for me. <sigh>
That's a mouthfull of information tonight, wasn't it. Guess what Alexis taught at school yesterday? Scissor SAFTEY! <smile>
So tonight I am sitting quietly in my stamp room listening to music being a little thankful for many of the stamping friends in my life. One talked to me for hours during the day and the other in the wee hours of the morning. Ahhhh…. Took my mind to other fun places.
Let me show you a few things I have created!

Remember I am on a mission to send Russ lots of Valentine cards. I am so proud of myself. This card uses a few stamps and a Stencil! I used the Love U stencils. Did you know there are 7 stencils in this set? WOW. All for 14.95! I love that.
Look at all these stencils you get in the pack:

I just laid the stencil down on my Kraft cardstock and then used a Real Red Craft pad and a sponge dauber and colored inside the stencil. Since I used Craft ink I let it dry for a little bit and then I started embellishing. I stamped over the stencil with the Bella Toile background stamp set with Creamy Caramel ink to give the area a little something somthin'. I likey! I added other little embellishments like a button (big surprise!) and then a few of those fun chocolate brads. yummo! Don't forget to give it a little spritz with shimmer mist. Love those Shimmer Paints!!!

Remember a few days ago I mentioned I was having my big Diva night? I've been asked what this is all about. It's a special night of stamping for demonstrators on my team that have worked really hard in the last quarter. I make dinner for them (they survived, yeah) and then we stamp all night. Those crazy ladies kept me up until 2:30am. I made them each a little goodie bag with this tag attached. I love my entire team. They are VERY special! The designer paper on this tag came from the Simply Scrappin' Kit called Love Sparkles. Fun Scrappin' kit! I love the little gems that come from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit. If you get bored you can put one on your cheek bone and pretend to be Lady Gaga for a moment. Ahhhh… I digress.
Well that's my news for this Tuesday night. I've got a lot of stamping to get done since none was done the last two days. It's time to get busy!
Have a great week. If you have kids, teach them SCISSOR SAFTEY!!!!

I went to the pumpkin patch today! Okay, big fat lie. You couldn’t find a pumpkin here if you wanted to because of all the SNOW! However, I have the cute Pumpkin Patch stamp set (116499) that I just love and I played with it for some time. This set is in the Holiday Mini catalog and my daughter had played with it more than I had. I had to play! I have four different designs to show you. Hang on to your pants!

Each of the cards have a similar layout with just a few changes to them. All the pumpkins were stamped using Craft ink. I used More Mustard, Pumpkin, Old Olive Chocolate Chip and Really Rust. All the pumpkins were stamped onto Kraft cardstock. Truly a Kimberly favorite. Each of the cards were stamped on the bottom using the Jumbo Wheel Bright Blessings (115626) using Really Rust ink on Really Rust cardstock. I used a few buttons and different sentiments from Grateful Greetings stamp set. I also used my favorite tool -the Color Spritzer Tool. Such a fun tool.
I loved making these cards.
I have a NEW Stamps/Scraps in the Mail program starting in November. You can check out all the details along the top of my blog or click the links below. These are my two favorite programs. This is the 10th Round of Stamps in the Mail. VERY exciting!!!! Lots of surprises and bonus projects during this round.

Time for me to turn up the heat. I am seriously FREEZING! Have you seen all the snow that Colorado has? I know my Denver friends have much more white stuff than we got. Sorry ladies. Have a GREAT Friday. I have to get the halloweenie costumers ready for our Trick or Treat fun! Can’t wait.

I know I have been the worst blog chic for awhile now. While I have REALLY missed writing posts every day, I can’t lie when I tell you things have just been bonkers in my little stamping world. This past weekend was filled with a VERY successful Breast Cancer Fundraiser. Every bit of our efforts went to Susan G. Komen and I am soooooooooooo excited to tell you that my AWESOME team and our AWESOME customers raised over $4600 dollars. At first we thought we raised a bit more, however we found out that we are better stampers than math chics. LOL! Our goal for the day was $4000! You can only imagine what a big big smile this brings to my face. While the weekend was super busy, it was so inspiring to be around all these women over the weekend. We stamped and educated women on breast cancer. We spent time together as friends. We laughed until our sides hurt. We cried with those who lost loved ones to this horrible disease. We remembered those who lost their battle with hope that we can make a difference. I feel empowered by all those that helped make the event a success. The local Chapter of Susan G. Komen has been so supportive towards our efforts and was there all day to help! Each of my team as well as local demonstrators worked hard. But together we worked as a TEAM. WOW! I am so proud of this group!
Here are a few pics of happy demonstrators!

So there you have a little peek into our happiness this weekend. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Together we can make a difference! Every little bit helps! Take care of those Ta Ta’s!
Did you know that Stampin’ Up! has a Ribbon of Hope stamp? You could use it for so many things! It’s a GREAT stamp! You can order using #111552. It’s only 7.95! Awesome deal!
Have a FABULOUS week!!

Holy Cow! It’s a MESS in my stamp room. I have been a crazy woman getting ready for multiple events this past week. I have a few things to show you today. I have to admit that I’ve been happy as a lark since I am stamping. When I stamp-I smile!
Let me show you what I’m making to get my desk this messy!

These are completely inspired by Shelli Gardner! I love halloween and I love stamping halloween projects. Last week when I was at the Advisory Board Retreat I was blessed with a wonderful dinner at Shelli’s home. I am still speechless over the experience. It really was amazing. The best part I loved was Sterlings Dutch Oven dinner. It was so yummy! The other thing I loved was seeing the Halloween displays that Shelli had around her home. It was heavenly for me.
Each of the Board members were given a beautiful bag of things Shelli loved. I will covet this forever and ever. Everything inside was amazing. Once again, the best part was a Halloween ornament that was tied around the bag. I love how Shelli stamps because it’s just my style. So my little gum wrappers are completely inspired by her creativity. I will make a video this week on how to make these great gum wrappers. They are just so fun.
I haven’t used my fabulous Chunky Glitter in awhile. I cut the stars using my Sizzix Die Cut Stars #2 (113461) and Long Board (114320). Then I cut my black cardstock while I was cutting the chipboard. I embossed the black cardstock using the From the Crypt stamp set (115460) and clear embossing powder. I loved how this turned out. The star is laying on top of an Oval Sizzix Die Cut (114525) and layered with Lovely Lilac cardstock. I then embossed the Web Wheel (115666) onto the Lovely Lilac cardstock using Black Craft ink and Clear embossing powder. I took the star and used Crystal Effects around the edges and dipped it into my Chunky Essentials Glitter (108797). I let that dry a minute. I made a yo yo (love that name) using the Cast a Spell DSP (115677) and then placed it onto the star and placed a banner over it using a Pop Up Glue Dot. I used Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370) for the sentiment on the banner.
I will do a video on two techniques this week on how to make these cute Halloween treats for your kiddo’s. I know mine love them. Super simple too.
I’m off to a big event this weekend. We are Stampin’ for a Cure! Each year myself and my demonstrators in the area do a big fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. My goal is to raise $4000 this weekend. We have a ton planned. Lots of stamping and lots of giveaways. I can’t wait. Wish us luck in our fight against breast cancer.
Have a fabulous weekend.

Wow! The last few days has been a little cooler for me and starting to feel like Fall is setting in. I’m not ready! I love Summer time but must admit I love to stamp Fall STUFF! I love the colors and love leaves!
Here is a card we did at my Demonstrator meeting on Saturday. Boy did we have a GREAT time. We did a total of 5 make n takes. This card shows you a little sneak peek of a stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog called Wandering Words. I have many more ideas for this set. This is a simple card and easy to make dozens of.

The leaf is a Sizzix Die Cut that I LOVE. The leaves look real and if you bend and play with your cardstock enough you can really make the leaves look real. I used the Sanded Background and my Favorite tool in the whole wide world… the Spritzer tool. Such a fun tool.
It’s a quick post tonight. I had a house full of crazy stampers today and another one tomorrow. It’s been a stamping frenzy here and that is exactly how I love it. Life is good!
See you tomorrow with new Holiday Mini Samples. I am cookin’ up something good! (in the stamp deptartment anyways!)
Happy Wednesday!
