Normally this time of year I am floating around a room filled with women raising money for Breast Cancer research. This year marks the Sixth Year of Stampin' for a Cure in Colorado Springs, Co. My team of demonstrators as well as a few not on my team gather together and work hard to come up with projects, silent auctions, and much much more to make this day the best that it can be. This is the first one I am missing. It feels very strange not being there but I am confident they are doing an outstanding job. I've skyped in once today to see all the fun they are having. Tried not to cry as I miss them all so much. I could hear the excitement in the background and could see blurry smiles on the faces of both customers and demonstrators. That makes my heart pound. Due to our circumstances with the Prince away, I thought it would be best not to travel. There will be many more. I also plan to start a Stampin' for a Cure event here in my local area. The only reason I didn't do it this year was because I spent 6 months feeling sorry for myself. Once I found Kimberly again it was a little late to get it going. No worries, next year will be great.
October 1st is also World Card Making day. It's a day to create until your fingers cramp. Here are a few pieces of inspiration for you.

This card uses the cute stamp set called Out on a Limb (#123824). I also used the Pick Your Poison DSP #(124001). Fun card for Halloween. My favorite image besides the witch are the clouds. Super cute.

This card is a beauty. Plus it has a Faux Metal Technique that was used with the witches boots. The added toole just makes it sassy vintage. Lots of stamp sets on this card: Teeny Tiny Wishes(#115370), Wicked Cool (#120600), Piece of Poison (#123754). Also used on this card is the First Edition Specialty (#121878).
You can find all these fantastic products in my spooky Online Store. Enjoy World Card Making day and I hope to update you later with how the Stampin' for a Cure event is going.

It’s Super Spooky Cool!
Have you ever made a card and just squealed with delight after it's made? That's what happened with this card and 20 others that were made when my girlfriend Cathy was here. Seriously, we had the time of our lives spending 4 non stop days in my stamp room. I told my kids Mama would be very tired last week. They were angels. They loved spending time with Cathy too. The best part of stamping with my girlfriend is we normally only get to see each other a few times a year and typically at Stampin' Up! events. It's always so crazy busy that we don't get the quality stamping time in. I will forever cherish those 4 days and will always blame her for the new wrinkle I have on my face for the constant smile I kept on my face while she was here. We were also able to share our delight with our friend Christy on iChat and while it wasn't the same it was still great to see her smiley face too. The week got even better when Denise showed up Friday morning for mad dash stamping with us. It truly was amazing.
Cathy was able to leave with 34 completed projects. Can you believe it? That is MASSIVE stamping. If you follow me on Facebook you probably were able to see many sneak peeks. If you want to follow me just look to the left of the screen. Hit that Follow Me button and you can follow my crazy life and other sneak peeks.
Get ready for some great projects, VIDEOS (yes, you see that correctly) and fun new stamping coming your way over the next few weeks. Thank you for letting me recover over the last 4 days too. LOL!
Let's get the party started. I have a spooky card to share and it's HYBRID!

Why do I love My Digital Studio? Because I can shrink that BIG ole Bingo stamp to the size I wanted. We were inspired by a card in the Paper Crafts magazine and it used the cutest darn Bingo card. We quickly grabbed our Bingo Stamp and started to create. I had a big pouty face when the Bingo Stamp was too big for what I was making. Genius Cathy says, "Silly, grab your digital Bingo stamp and shrink it with MDS!" DUH!
We did it! We shrank the Bingo image to a size we wanted and printed it out. Holy Cow. By this time I was doing a jiggle dance. I was super excited.
**Side Note** If you don't have My Digital Studio, you need it. Wait till I show you all the cool things I've made with it. Oh boy! Also, coming soon will be a limited time Digital Hostess Option that is KILLER! Email me to book a workshop today. I promise to make something super fun and cool with you and your friends!
The rest of the card uses many more fun products such as the Piece of Poison stamp set (#123754), Pick Your Poison Quick Accents(#124263), Pick Your Poison DSP (#124001), Dark & Dreary Stamp set (#121151) and the sweet new Pewter Embossing Powder. We used this on the crow. Did you know "Crows" are super trendy for Halloween? These are great to add to your Halloween decorations and make sure your crow isn't naked. Dress it up. I'll show you what I mean in a few days. <wink>
Here is a little closer look at the card:

Don't forget to add a little bling bling to your card using or self adhesive Rhinestones. Makes a project look super fun.Somehow I just think this silly Skeleton is CUTE! Is there such a thing?
So there you have the first look of many more fun things to come. You can find all these great products in my Spooky Online Store. Check out the fun stuff and check out the Clearance items too. Everyone likes a good deal.

Bingo!
BINGO! Oh gosh, I am really going to tell on myself today. I love playing Bingo! I rarely get to play but I am a serious Bingo player and all I want to do is scream, "BINGO!" Do I ever get to do that? NO! I just love the excitement of playing. I love the dauber thingies and all the colors. It's an addiction just like stamps. Can anyone relate to my craziness?
Enough craziness because this card is all about a BINGO card. I can sit in my stamp room all day and scream, "BINGO!" Do you have the adorable Bingo Card background stamp? Oh, you have to have it. It's great and there are so many coordinating stamps that can go with it.
This card I am sharing today uses the Bingo Card as well as Spooky Bingo Bits. Check out the Spooky Bingo Bits… super cute:

I also used the Pick Your Poison Quick Accents from the Holiday Mini. The accents used are the orange stripes. I love these Quick Accents. Fun embellishments. This was a fast card to make. Like yesterdays card I split the Wide Grosgrain ribbon in half. I thought it was better suited for a card.
Here is a card I found from Stampin' Up! in my Online Store:

Isn't this super cute? I think you can have a great time with these Spooky Bingo Bits.
If you love Bingo like me and you never get to scream "BINGO" we can get our Bingo sillies out with this stamp set!

Spooky Stuff!
Another quick post today. One of my favorite times of year to stamp is Halloween. I don't know why but I love all the halloween fun stuff. You can be so creative with this silly holiday and make so many fun treats. I know there are many that do not prefer creating Halloween goodies and that is totally okay. BUT, this girl *LOVES* it.
Tomorrow is a big day! The Holiday Mini will go live and unleash all the new goodies that you can purchase. There are FABULOUS Halloween ideas and products in this mini. You will squeal. Here is a card I made with one of the new stamps!

This card used the Piece of Poison stamp set and the Pick Your Poison Quick Accents. Love these accents. They are fantastic. The other great product is the Pick Your Poison DSP. WOWSER! It's all fabulous. It's spooky but cute.
Check my Online Store tomorrow as it opens up for you to purchase all these fun fabulous cool things.
Don't forget to check out Stamps in the Mail. Registration opened yesterday and will continue until Sept. 10th. It's going to be a great round!

Supah Spooky!
Before I left for vacation I couldn't stop making Halloween stuff. It's just so fun to make. Tonight's card I played with lots of fun products! This card made my creative space a beautiful MESS! You know what I'm talking about. I ended up with piles of stamp sets, punches, tools and inks everywhere. When I finished this card I felt pretty darn satisfied. Not so much because of the card but because of all the fun things I used. LOL!
Let me show you the Supah Spooky Card!

As you can see, LOTS of products. Some new, some old. All together… they make a fun Halloween card. Below is a list of supplies!
Stamps: From the Crypt (115460), Style Beautiful (120483), Seasonal Sentiments (121130)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Basic Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon (ribbon cut in half), Nite Owl DSP (123012), Cutter Kit (SERIOUSLY, favorite tool!), Distressing Essentials (118762), Rhinestones, Vintage Trinkets
Now, I have to just add one thing. You NEED the Distressing Essentials. Super great tool for your stamping needs. It's like Sugar in your kitchen. It's a staple product, right? Well, this Distressing Essentials is just that too. Staple in your stamp room. Gotta have it! Add it to your order this month using my Online Shopping button and I will send you a card made using this GREAT tool!
Our vacations continues but only for a few short days. <sigh> I think we've packed in more fun this last week than ever. I know my kids are starting to get wrinkles at a young age from too much smiling. Or, could it be prolonged time in a pool? Either way it's been great watching two very happy chicks play! Today was supah amazing. We went on my parents boat and fished. I personally did not touch a pole. I was there for shooting the pics. Little did I know Brandon wasn't keen on fishing either. Let me set the story straight. This child has a heart for animals. We caught little minnows early this morning to have bait for fishing. Once Brandon caught those minnows it was all downhill. They were now his FRIENDS and there was no way we were using them for bait. Everyone had to be very strategic when baiting their hook. Anyways, the kids both caught fish. We threw them back in the ocean and Brandon said a prayer tonight that the fish were okay. <sigh> It was an awesome day with AWESOME memories!
Here are TWO happy Kids!

And you know how much I love chubby birds? This one below is one of my favorite photos!

I hope you have great plans for the weekend. We have one more great day to spend here and then we are back to reality. I'm hoping our new friend "Hurricane Earl" doesn't decide to stay too close to the coast. It could make getting home a little nuts.
