Happy Monday!  I have another Halloween Card share this morning.  I'm using my favorite Toxic Treats again this morning and I've done a lot of embossing on this particular card.  I also have a Video Tutorial on using our Stampin' Up! Wheels below. It's basic use… just remember that. <smile>

I've heard from a few of you that you tend to shy away from using wheels because you never get the look you want.  As you know, I'm a big fan of our Stampin' Around wheels more because it adds a quick background to any project you are working on.  Not only are they great for cards, but they make a perfect border for a scrapbook page.  Below you will find a few helpful tips when using our Wheels and the video is on the basics of using wheels.

Tip: To help keep your image straight when using your wheels, use your grid sheets and a straight edge object such as the side of your stamp case.   Get the hang of using wheels by wheeling on your grid sheet multiple times until you get the hang of it.  Try using VersaMark with your wheels to make a great background when you are just starting out.

What is YOUR favorite Wheel?

TRENDY ALERT-  Want to know what's hot in the crafty world? Chevrons!  It's not just the crafty world either.  Look at home decor'.  You will find Chevrons everywhere.  I love that Stampin' Up! keeps up with the trends.  We have great products that you can get the Chevron look.

Happy Saturday! I'm on a roll with Halloween cards this year and I want to share this fun Toxic Treats card.  I love how this simple card turned out.  Toxic Treats is a GREAT stamp set that works with both the Labels Collection Framelits as well as the Decorative Label Punch. To add a little texture to the card I clear embossed the Toxic Treats image as well as the Etruscan Elegance Wheel.

Tip: Add a button to your card by simply taking Linen Thread and threading it through the button first.  Attach a Vintage Trinket Safety pin to the ribbon and then tie your button onto the Safety Pin.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Toxic Treats (#127898)

Cardstock: Basic Black, Crumb Cake

Ink: Basic Black Craft

Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Etruscan Elegance (127868), Linen Thread, Brights Designer Buttons, Vintage Trinkets, Labels Collection Framelits, Houndstooth & Scaringbone DSP, 7/8" Natural Cotton Ribbon

All Wrapped up Mummy!

Holy Cow my Monday has flown by!  I didn't get back from Founders until late last night and I've been busy catching up on work all day.  Today will go down in history as the FASTEST Monday ever.

I'm excited to share this card with you.   I loved using the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon to make my "Mummy" impersonation.  I took a piece of cardstock and wrapped it using the Cotton ribbon and kept it in place by using two pieces of Sticky Strip.  I just made sure it was tight enough so that the ribbon didn't buckle around the cardstock.

I then took the Googly Ghouls stamp set and stamped the mummy with Basic Black Craft ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing powder.  I attached this onto a few Circle punches using a piece of Linen Thread and a pretty Vintage Faceted button.  I love how these buttons look on cards.

TIP:  I used the stamp set Monster Munchies and stamped the words with Basic Black Craft ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder.  I cut the words separately and added a word from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases.  Once they were all cut out separately, I sponged around all of the edges and roughened them up just a tad bit.  I used my Hot Glue gun to keep these in place on the Cotton Ribbon.

TIP: Try wrapping the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon around a candle and embellish just the same to make a fun Halloween Table Arrangement.  Wouldn't this be fun for a Halloween party?

Below you will find all the supplies I used.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Fabulous Phrases, Googly Ghouls, Monster Munchies

Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake, Basic Gray

Ink: Basic Black Craft ink

Accessories: Vintage Faceted Buttons, Linen Thread, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Clear EP, 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, Vintage Trinkets, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Googlies

Make it a GREAT week. Make sure to check out my Facebook Fan Page.  I've shared lots of fun samples from Founders Circle.

XOXOXO
