Enjoy Valentines with Stampin’ Up!
Are you ready for Valentines Day? Today I am going to share a few Stampin' Up! products that make Valentines Day even sweeter.
Banners are still a hot trendy element on any project. For this card I created a banner that fits across the top of the card using some of my FAVORITE products such as the Artisan Embellishment kit and the More Amour DSP. This card was made even easier because the greeting is already on the DSP. I just trimmed it perfectly to fit the card front. To finish my banner at the top I used the Hearts a Flutter stamp set with the coordinating framelits and BAM… it's complete. Another trinket I love are they Cute Clips. I used the "Hung Up-#129389" and I love the little thought bubble. You may remember I used them for the Dress Forms on this post HERE.

To Grandmother’s House We Go!
Ahhh… the magic of the season is about to get REAL for me. Not that I can't make the magic of the season come alive in my own home, but there is something to be said about going to see family at Christmas time. I love it with all my heart and soul. I love baking and sitting by the fire with my parents and the long night chats with my mom. Even without the holiday my heart longs for days like this. I love watching my kids interact with my parents and I especially love watching my parents gush love all over them. It's something so special and so great.
I'll be keeping you posted over the holiday and keeping you inspired throughout the season. You can catch on the fly postings on my Facebook Fan Page. I'm always posting something fun and of course if you want to see what I'm really up to, see what I'm doing on Instagram. There is one thing I love… my phone and taking pictures.
Sweet and dainty! With the new Oh, Hello stamp set you can accomplish that super quick. I love how the dainty flowers are just the perfect size for any project that you want to make. I'll be showing lots of tricks you can do with these as well as the bottle caps once the Spring Mini Catalog goes live.
In the meantime I hope you are enjoying every minute of the season and taking time to enjoy your family.
XOXOXO
Finally Friday!
My kids have looked forward to this day for quite some time. The countdown leading up to see their Nene & PawPaw feels like an eternity to them. When you only get to see family who live far away a few times a year it's a BIG deal. I feel their excitement and energy today and I'm trying to keep the stress of "did I pack everything" on the low. I can't wait to hug my family.
I have a few things to share today. I've worked until the final hour on new Spring Mini ideas to share while I'm on the road. I'm hoping to get some stamping time in with my mom as well. I *LOVE* getting time to stamp with her.
As I've said in previous posts, this Spring Mini Catalog is by far one of my favorites. Everything is so delicate and beautiful in this catalog. I love the Designer Paper and the do-dads.
This card uses the Oh Hello Stamp set and the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper. *LoVe It*
You can see all the supplies I used for this card below.
Supplies Used:
Stamp set: Oh Hello
Cardstock: Basic Gray, So Saffron
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Tea for Two DSP, Paper Doilies, Chevron Textured Embossing Folder, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Cute Clips, Basic Designer Buttons, Pool Party Bakers Twine
By now you should be receiving your Mini Catalog (it's NOT so Mini!) The cover is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
I have another fun thing to share.
Heather and I are SO excited about our Simply My Digital Studio Challenges each week. The Facebook page is humming with amazing ideas being shared from the challenges that we are putting out. Each Monday we have a new challenge and technique being shared. I hope you can join us. This week we have an extra challenge using Overlays!
Make sure to check out Heather's Page HERE and a video that she made.
My layout uses a few different Overlays to create this layout. When creating my digital pages I always start with my cardstock or patterned paper first and then I use an Overlay. It just adds great texture to a layout.
Download the Page Supplies HERE.
You can find all of these great products in my Online Store. Here are a few of my FAVORITES!
I hope this inspires you to create something pretty this weekend.

It's a GREAT day when I can announce a winner of a GiveAway!!

A big thank you to all that participated and thank you for all the Anniversary wishes.
I love sharing with you and I LOVE hearing from you!! It brings a big ole smile to my face!!
Okay, It's Sunday, about 1145pm to be exact and I want to know WHERE my weekend went? SERIOUSLY??? There was no time to get down and dirty with stamps this weekend.
The kids had us wrapped up in activities and Science Fair projects the entire time. They are lucky I had a moment to break away and clean their undies. Seriously though, Brandon spent 8 hours working on his Science Fair project proposal that was already late. Might I mention this got him in a little BIG trouble. The punishment was he would do nothing until it was complete. His punishment gave me 10 new gray hairs. Sitting with him for 8 hours- YES, I said 8 hours helping him research this Science Fair project was just awesome-NOT. It was a dual effort on Russ and I's part with Russ sitting with Brandon longer than I. I was ready to poke both of my eyes out with a fork. Funny how when you help your kids with homework you feel COMPLETELY stupid afterwards. I do remember graduating high school and college. According to the help I was giving my son, I shouldn't have graduated.
Alexis and I did a doosie today as well. We were up and out the door late morning for a going away party for one of her gymnastic coaches. Being the last minute nelly that I am we quickly drove to the grocery store to get a BIG ole thing of Chicken Wings and a Poinsettia to wish her luck. We get to the "party" only to notice there isn't a party. I quickly check my emails only to find the party is next weekend. Are you kidding ME? The chicken wings were really good and now I'm praying I can keep this stupid Poinsettia alive for a week.
So, the one Poinsettia I know that I can keep alive is the one from the Watercolor Winter stamp set.
It's beautiful, needs no water just ink.
Below you will see the supplies I used to create this fun little envelope.
Stamps: Watercolor Winter
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Vellum, Early Espresso
Ink: VersaMark, Early Espresso
Accessories: Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die Cut, Big Shot, Gold Embossing Powder, Victoria Crochet Trim, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, My little sewing machine, Pearls, Linen Thread, Vintage Faceted Buttons
If you are struggling to keep a Poinsettia alive, try out the Watercolor Winter stamp set and make your own. You can even pull them out next year and they will still look beautiful.

Have a GREAT week!
XOXOXO
Imagine the Possibilities…
Can you imagine the possibilities if we had NO responsibilities and could craft EVERY single day of every hour. We can dream a bit, right? I've had quite the "responsible" week since Russ was away for work. I typically put on the super woman cape and conquer all during that time frame. I typically stay up way later than I should but as crazy as that is all my "duties" get done. Last night Russ came home and I crashed. I was in bed at 9:30 and out like a light. I'm pretty sure this was not what he had planned but he kindly took my cape off and said I wouldn't need it for awhile. Phew. It's made of the finest Stampin' Up! fabric and I've worn that cape slap out!
The good news about going to bed early is I woke up ready to do it all over again. Totally refreshed and ready to get my craftiness on.
Before I move on about my card, I wanted to tell you that our blog hop is taking a little Siesta during the holidays. After the New Year we will revisit the Hoppin' again. I really hope you enjoyed them. If you are looking for MDS inspiration, just go to the search tool on the left side of my website and you can type Blog Hop and you will see all the great hoppin' that we did. Great people, Great artisits.
Okay, so my card looks very similar to the one I posted the other day. Again, I love the chevrons and the colors are just yummo.
The big difference with this card is the greeting (Word Play Stamp set) and I switched the Crumb Cake and Summer Starfruit cardstock around a bit.
Tip: Did you know that you can purchase single stamps from the Word Play stamp set instead of purchasing the ENTIRE set? Uh huh! Check this out HERE! Here's the skinny… these will only be available until January 2nd. If you like them single, get them while you can.
I used the same concept of cutting the Window Frame Framelits and then stamping on them. I like this look and I think what stands out the most is the Border Banter stamp with the Chevron. I'm telling you, it's a must have. A staple for the stamp room if you may.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Border Banter, Word Play
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Pool Party, Island Indigo
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit
Accessories: Pool Party Bakers Twine, Window Frame Framelits, spritzer tool, Island Indigo Marker, Travel Journal Wheel
You may have heard a big scream the other day. UPS delivered my Spring Mini products and I couldn't help but SCREAM!! Demonstrators get to pre-order these amazing products one month prior to them being available for purchase. Let me tell you something… It's by far the best mini catalog I've seen yet.
