Bundle It!

Creativity is even better when you can bundle a stamp set and coordinating framelits together and save money.

Tips & Tricks

  • The solid flower image does not have a thinlit.  This flower needs to be fussy cut but don’t fret… it’s a simple fussy cut.
  • I placed a die cut flower in Smoky Slate over the top of the stamped solid flower image and then placed a Metallic Enamel Shape in the center to give it a little more pop.  These inexpensive embellishments have a WOW factor for any project.
  • The greeting was stamped using Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  I die cut the image using the Lots of Labels Framelits, then cut the label as close to the greeting as possible and tucked it underneath the patterned paper.
  • The Dapper Denim and Smoky Slate color combination is a winner.

This card  has the same layout as the first one, but there are a few changes in the embellishments and colors.

Tips & Tricks

  • A simple addition of adding Cucumber Crush ink on the contrasting Whisper White cardstock was a complete different look for this card. I love how the leaves pop and the Affectionately Yours Washi Tape just added to the WOWSA factor.
  • I added a little Silver Metallic Thread behind the flower and pulled in another Metallic Enamel Shape to the center flower.  Love how it all comes together and looks matchy matchy.  That is success in my book.

Back at Home…

Wanted to say a quick BIG thank you for your prayers for my dad.  He’s back at home after having a cardioversion on Monday.  He’s doing well but very tired.  He’s been given orders to rest so lets hope he does that.  He’s a man with his own agenda clearly…

XOXOXOXO

  1. Once again Kimberly, your talent has been exposed with these gorgeous cards. Hopefully, you’re gearing up to submit samples to SU to continue to be on the Artisan team. The blog hop is always an adventure!

  2. I love the dapper denim and don’t usually get any of the ‘in colors,’ but I may have to get that. Your cards are so nice! Glad to hear that your dad is back home. I hope he settles down and rests!

  3. I love that you used Dapper Denim as the focus color! These are awesome layouts as always! You rock!
