Sweet Little Easter Lamb- Artisan Blog Hop
Easter Lamb…. and it’s time for another Artisan Blog Hop where the inspiration and creativity is about to explode.
It’s always exciting to see what 20 global demonstrators can create.
Easter Lamb
By far one of the cutest little single stamps in the Occasions catalog, and could get missed. This sweet little lamb can be found on page 24 of your Occasions catalog. I love that this sweet little lamb can also be used outside of the Easter for cards such as new babies, or for younger children.
Is this the cutest little guy you have ever seen? Simple, yet sweet. Love that combination.
Tips & Tricks
I pulled a few hat tricks for this card. Let me share so you can also re-create this yourself. It’s not hard at all.
- The black banner and the white circle die cut came from the You’re So Lovely Project Kit. The die cuts in this kit are stunning and there is a ton of goodness wrapped up in that kit. I loved the banner and it fit perfectly for the greeting.
- The black filigree behind the lamb comes from the First Sight stamp set. I stamped onto Vellum using VersaMark and then covered with Black Embossing Powder. Make sure to use your Embossing Buddy to get rid of any static especially when working with Vellum.
- The lamb was stamped using Black Archival ink and a simple Blending Pen to color the face, ears and legs.
- I placed Vellum over my Typeset Designer Paper to give it a softer look.
I used my favorite cardstock for the base of my card- Kraft Paper. Ohhhh Weeee. I love that cardstock. Perfect for ANY project and comes in 12 x 12.
Once again the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper was a perfect combination to use for this card. I love the stripes of this particular pattern.
Imagine the possibilities with this sketch. Take the lamb out and put in your favorite image. There are lots of opportunities for this card.
I’d love to hear your feedback. What do you think?
