Tricky Ornament & Video
Happy Sunday,
Hard to believe another weekend just blew by. It was super busy in our household.
I wanted to share a fun Halloween ornament that I made. I did make a video that you will find at the end of this post. Hopefully it will help you if you want to create one. Beware… they take awhile to make. Not the easiest project I've made but it sure was fun to make. Just sayin'.
Tip: Using a glue gun will only make this project EASIER. I highly recommend.
Tip #2- Don't over shimmer your project like I did. :(

Witchy Woman!
Witchy Woman sounds like an Eagles song or better yet something my Prince might call me lately. The funny thing is I've had the song Witchy Woman in my head ALL day since I dubbed this little project with that name. I shared her earlier on my Facebook Page and then rushed out the door to walk the streets for a ginormous craft fair. I had a blast.
Who knew making tic tac boxes could be so addictive? My kids want them all and are now requesting them for friends. CRAZY.
Below I have listed the supplies you will need to create Witchy Woman.
You can view this video HERE to learn how to make the base of the Tic Tac Holder. They are fun and easy and just require the Two Tags Die Cut.
Face: Owl Punch textured embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder
Nose: Itty Bitty Punch Shapes (circle)
Eyes: Googlie Eyes
Hair: Owl Punch
Hat: Bitty Banners, Pennant Punch
Shoes: Butterfly Punch
Center punch= 13/8' Circle punch
Rhinestones to make her feel pretty!

I hope your weekend is going great and you're finding a little time to create.

MDS Blog Hop~ For the Love of Pinterest!
Pin it, Pin it, Pin it! It's one of my favorite things to do-visit Pinterest! I've never seen so much beautiful eye candy in one place in all my life. It's the one website that sucks me in FAST. I can sit for hours looking at craft projects, Home Decor' and best yet… FOOD. I'm starving after a few hours looking at Pinterest. It's sharing on steroids, don't you think? This week our Blog Hop theme was to duplicate a layout found on Pinterest. This is where I get a lot of my starting points when creating a layout so this theme was easy peasy for me.
Here is my inspiration:
I love this site not only for the layout inspiration but the color inspiration you can find too.
Here is my layout:
The fun part about this layout was duplicating the ideas using the Digital Downloads from Stampin' Up! LOVE IT.
Tip: Do you ever struggle with journaling on a layout? Try using a favorite quote instead of personal journaling. It's OKAY to leave a layout without journaling too. You will find great quote websites on the internet for every possibly subject matter.
You can find all the downloads I used for this layout HERE.
Must have Digital Supplies:
Now let's see what the other great designers have up their sleeves.

Tic Tac Holders~ Supplies
Good afternoon! We meet again today. After several requests from many of you I wanted to share a few more of the little tic tac holders in their different characters and the supplies used for them. You can visit my YouTube Channel to see how to actually make the Tic Tac Holders using the Two Tag Die Cut HERE.
I want to give a big shout out to Susan Adams and Janet Baker for sharing this adorable little favor while I was at Founders Circle. I love their creative minds.
To make the Santa you will need the following supplies:
Die Cut your cardstock (4 x 6) using the Two Tags Die Cut. Make sure to fold the cardstock in half first before running through die cut. Cardstock color is Gumball Green.
*1 3/8" Circle Punch- for the center
*Designer Ribbon Slides, 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon-for the Santa Belt (TIP: Attach the ribbon belt around the Tic Tac box so that it will stay in place)
*Butterfly punch-Punch with Basic Black cardstock
*Small Oval-Punch- one with Red Glimmer Paper for the Hat and one with Pink Pirouette for the face
*1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch-Punch Whisper White Cardstock that has been texture embossed with Lacy Brocade for the Beard & Mustache.
*Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (Circle)-Punch one in Silver Glimmer paper for the hat, and one in Pink Pirouette for the nose.
*Basic Pearls colored with a Black Sharpie- For the Eyes
1/8" Red Taffeta Ribbon for the Tic Tac Closure. Thread through the holes and tie in a bow.
This little guy makes me giggle. I love his ears.
Cut your Tic Tac Holder using the Two Tags Die Cut using Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
1 1/4 Scallop Circle punch- Beard and Mustache. (TIP- This was texture embossed using the Lacy Brocade Texture folder) You will need to cut two of these.
Butterfly Punch- Punch Gumball Green Cardstock for the shoes. Punch Whisper White cardstock for the ears.
Small Oval- Punch Pink Pirouette for the face and one Gumball Green for the hat.
Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Circle)- Punch one in Pink Pirouette for the nose.
Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Flower)- Punch one using Red Glimmer paper for his hat.
1/8" Real Red Taffeta ribbon to keep the sides tied down.
Basic Pearls colored in Basic Black ink
Basic Pearls for the body
For the scary guy… I made mine a little different from the original I had seen.
Cut Whisper White Cardstock using the Two Tags die cut to make the holder. Run this through the Chevron Textured Embossing Folder.
Punch the center using the Curly Label Punch.
Punch another Curly Label punch using Basic Black. Cut across one end of the Curly Label to make spiking hair.
Add Googlie eyes onto the actual Tic Tac box under the spiky hair. Use a Black Sharpie to create the mouth.
Create a hair bow-Cut a small piece of 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon. Tie a piece of Linen Thread or Bakers Twine in the center to make the Scallop ribbon look like a hair bow. Thread the tails of the twine through a small Vintage Faceted Button and tie in a knot. Tip: Janet created the original bow using the Merry Mini's Christmas Tree punch in the Holiday Mini Catalog. Isn't that clever?
Add Rhinestones under the mouth of Scary Guy.
I love the creative use of punches. These projects definitely show how to use a punch in several different ways. I know the ideas are endless for these little guys.
You can find all the supplies to make these cute favors in my Online Store.
