Say Cheese!
Do you have a Reason to Smile today? After a crazy Sunday I have to say that I'm feeling pretty darn blessed today. My mom had a few chest pains and blurred vision yesterday and that landed her in an overnight stay at the hospital. All is well right now and all the tests came back okay. She almost gave me a heart attack! She is now on her way home to rest and will be following up with Doctors this week to see exactly what's going on. She had red carpet care and was treated like a QUEEN. Only thing that could be better is if I was at her side.
Despite this little set back, I do have many Reason's to Smile. This card is one of them. This is one of my swaps I made at Convention. I used the stamp set called, Reason to Smile. This is a current special with Stampin' Up! that goes until the end of this month. You can read all about it HERE.
Here is the stamp set-
It can be ALL yours for $5 with your $50 order placed. Now that's something to smile about.
For this particular card I stamped the solid flower in Summer Starfruit (FAVORITE COLOR) and then stamped the lined flower image using Raspberry Ripple. I then took a sponge dauber with More Mustard ink and sponged around the center of the flower to make it stand out just a tad bit more.
The sentiment came from the stamp set Kindness Matters.
I also used the new Travel Journal builder wheel.
Below you will find a list of supplies I used along with a little 3 x 3 version of this card.
Stamps: Reason to Smile, Kindness Matters
Inks: Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake, More Mustard
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Summer Starfruit
Accessories: Spritzer Tool, Summer Starfruit marker, Victoria Lace, Raspberry Ripple ribbon, Pennant Die Cut (Scallop Circle), 2 1/2" Circle Punch, First Edition DSP, Travel Journal Wheel, Dazzling Diamonds, Pearls
Hope this gives you a Reason to Smile today.
XOXOXO
