Happy Sunday friends. It's taken me all day to get my act together after flying home late last night. I had to get up early to take Brandon to his first Boy Scout Summer Camp. He's done plenty of weekend camps, but never a week long camp. He was pretty clingy this morning and not wanting to go but I pulled up my own big girl mama panties and sent him off with lots of hugs and kisses.
I started the unpacking and now my stamp room looks like an explosion happened. There is stuff everywhere. Eek!
I am so excited that so many of you helped and commented on which stamp set to choose for the next round of Stamps in the Mail. I'm going to comb through all the stamp sets that each of you selected and make my decision this week. In the meantime it's time to pick a WINNER!!!! Yippie! I am Super Duper excited.
Ladies, please email me your snail address and I will get a set of swaps in the mail to you.
Time to share more of my convention projects.
I made these for a few of my sweet friends at convention.
This is a very simple card holder made using our Clear Mount stamp cases (#119105). These come 4 to a package for only $5.95. What a great gift you can make for friends and family at a low cost and from the heart.
Start this project by taking a piece of Designer Series Paper and trimming to 7 x 10 1/2 and slip the DSP between the plastic sleeve. That easy!
The focal point of this project used the stamp set From My Heart (#126557) stamped in Early Espresso ink. I sponged around the edges and mounted this on the Early Espresso large Scallop punch. I also used Summer Starfruit ink at the top of the stamped image. The scallop is then mounted on a few pieces of ribbon and then I added a simple button to hang from a vintage trinket.
Inside you can put a few handmade cards with envelopes and hand to your special someone.
I hope you have a GREAT week. Lots more to share this week. Don't forget to visit my Online Store to see the fun new products.
