Happy Leap Day!

How are you spending your "Extra" day?  I am excited because it's a cloudy, rainy day and it gives me EVERY excuse to be in my stamp room creating.  I love it.

Today I have a few projects to share again.  Tomorrow I have a Card Buffet class I'm teaching in the evening.  There are 10 cards and they can choose 5 designs to make.  It's a great way to catch up on all occasion cards.  Here is one of the cute cards in the stack.

This card uses the Send Me Soaring stamp set.  Here is the set.

Isn't it super cute? It's a fast card and the kites are easy to paper piece and cut out.  I like that.

Another project share today is an MDS page I worked on last night before going night night.  This layout uses the new downloads from yesterday.  Great stamp brushes for Summer pages.  I have a plenty of Beach pictures to put these digital brushes to GREAT use.  I decided to pull a picture of Russ from our St. Martin trip in 2010.  Hands down one of my favorite trips EVER.  Great times were had on this day.

Okay, I'm off to create a few new things this morning.  I have a list of items that I want to create today.  I'm hoping to get them all accomplished. Have a BEAUTIFUL day and create away.  If you need to boost your supplies check out my Online Store.  Don't forget to always check the CLEARANCE RACK.  There are good deals ALL the time.

I made all of these last night sitting and watching TV.  Love crafting like that.

Here is another card from my Blossom Builders Class. This was only a sample and not one that participants made.  The only reason we didn't make it was because I thought it would take a bit long to finish.

You can check out the new downloads HERE. Check out my Online store for more great downloads and great Stampin' products.

Have a GREAT Tuesday!

Monday- No Madness!

Boy, I didn't think I would actually say that EVER! A Monday without the crazy madness that happens around here normally.  I'm happy to report we made it through last week.  Had a GREAT time at the Blue & Gold dinner on Saturday. I had an amazing stamping class yesterday. Thank you to the fine ladies that attended.  It's been awhile since I taught a class like that and it felt SO GREAT to be back in the swing of it.  YIPPIE!!  Here are a few of the pretties we made:

You can find the Blossom Builders on page 18 of the Mini Occasions Catalog.  These beautiful die cut flowers have great texture to them and are easy for you to create many beautiful cards and 3-D projects.  One of my favorite things included with this kit is the pink Rhinestones.  They are just the perfect touch.  They are self adhesive and fun to add to any project. The class participants each received a set of Hat Pins and the Blossom Builders kit to work with during the class.

Since I have my Stampin' hat on I want to remind you about the My Digital Studio Free Trial that you can download for 30 days.  This is a fantastic digital program.  I played around with the trial version a few weeks ago (I have the full digital program) so I could see what exactly you were getting and create with it.  Here is a layout I created just from the trial version. I will be teaching how to create this layout and more at my MDS class on March 8th.  If you are local and want to learn how to create digital fun join me for this  Get Started with My Digital Studio Class.  This will be a very basic class.  Bring your laptop and download the MDS Trial Version.  Check out my website for the times and details.

If you loved that Blossom Builders you can also download the digital version! How exciting is that?  Here it is and look at all the pretty color rhinestones.
Whooo Hoooo!! You can see more like this in my Online Store

Okay, I think I've filled your eyes enough today. I hope this inspires you to create today.

Happy Friday

I don't know about you but I'm glad Friday is HERE! I wanted to share a few photos that made me really happy this week.  It's been a BUSY week in our house.

The quick highlights…

1. Beautiful weather in Va.

2. Brandon crosses over to Boy Scouts! *So PROUD!

3. My *vintage* room is "coming" together.

4. Alexis got the Norovirus!!!  Big Fat DISLIKE! This causes obsessive compulsive type of cleaning that drives my family insane.

5. Both kiddo's leveled up in Swimming.  Their hard work is showing.

Lastly, the Fainting Couch…

I have a vintage card share too.  It's vintage because it uses a set that is pretty old but I kept for just the right reasons.  Since it's retired I gave it my own name too.  It's my Johnny Depp set.  You know me and my PIRATE obsession.  Brandon had a birthday party and lo and behold the birthday boy holds an obsession like mine. He loves Pirates.  I had to make him a card using my favorite set.  Luckily this card did not have to go through airport security.  It would never make it with all the brads I used.

I hope your weekend is filled with fun things.  The next two nights we have scouting events.  It's going to be VERY busy.

It Really was a Good Deal!

I could write a book on where I've been.  We've been busy little bee's in this house. With Scouts, Gymnastics, Swimming, After School Clubs, stamping and estate sales…. we can barely keep our schedules straight.

The good news is I've worked the last month on getting affairs in order to get back to teaching classes, workshops and adding more events to my schedule.  It's only when I started adding more events that our lives seemed to get busier.  It's natural and I expected it.  Whenever I make new goals for my business I always expect to jump LARGE obstacles to get to that goal.  I didn't realize these would be HUGE logs I would be jumping over. Ha. Let the jumping begin.  *grin*

Before I share many projects with you I have to tell you about a funny and a good deal the Prince and I landed recently.  One of our goals when he came home was to do something with our dining room.  It was bare bones.  Not a stitch of anything in it.  We didn't want to use it as a dining room but rather a sitting room or piano room.  Russ started the renovation of the room with putting new wood floors in. Then I asked for new paint on the walls.  He said this was starting to sound like a new outfit. First the dress, then the shoes… and then the accessories.  The accessories are the BEST part, right?   This is when the REAL fun has begun.  We started looking for piano's on Craigslist and estate sales. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a used piano.  We were so excited when we found a Player Piano on Craigslist. We were excited until the whole thing became a disaster.  The story is forever long so I won't bore you with it.  Let's just say it took 4 weeks to get it after the owner hijacked it. It took  a very large truck, $500 more than we planned, and a car was side swiped as Russ was backing the truck into our driveway. Uh huh. All that trouble and we have a 1929 really OLD working Player Piano.  Russ said I was lucky it was not on fire in our front yard.  <giggle>  It has become a great conversation piece and was 100% worth all the pain after we put the first Piano Roll on.  The kids faces were priceless.  We still need to get it tuned and then we are going to start a few lessons.  Yes, NO ONE in this house knows how to play. Kinda funny, eh?

I was also on the hunt for a Fainting Couch for the room and I am happy to say I found one.  I'll share soon.  I better share some creative fun before I really start to bore  you.  I've been excited to share this with you.  I'll share the entire creative process of the room once it's all complete.

I've been a STAMPING fool late at night.  I have so many fun things to share.  Bare with me as I share a few Valentine pieces with you.  That holiday just whipped right by me.  Dang!  My first card is a case from Shelli at Leadership.  I didn't put all her bells and whistles on the inside because this was a card my great club ladies completed.  I just love the color combo and the sweet hearts.

I love this sweet box because it uses the Fancy Favor Box and the inside box is hand made.  This is a great box to put a few goodies inside for a special someone.

This last project uses the little note cards.  Just a sweet little note with a few buttons and do-dads!

Phew! That was a mouthful of news.  I hope you had a GREAT Presidents weekend.  This week is BIG for our family.  Brandon crosses over to Boy Scouts tomorrow.  We are super excited for him.  We also have a big Girl Scout and Boy Scout event this coming weekend.  I'm hoping everything comes together.  I'm a little stressed.  Once this week is through I'll be able to catch my breath.

Have a FANTASTIC week.

XOXOXO
