What’s on Your Agenda?

Today, here is what I am going to do!

*Pull out a stamp set that has the thickest amount of DUST on it and create something pretty with it.

*Try not to blow away with the wind!

*Create a new playlist to dance around silly in my stamp room! Try not visualize this one!

*Sit with my kids after school and enjoy a peaceful moment! These are RARE!

So, what's on your agenda today?

Today's share… my favorite photo of Brandon and the 8 x 8 easy scrap page!

Remember that pretty blue {Pacific Point} ???  That is what I used.  I did have to dust it.  I used the fun Bitty Buttons all over the page and the Punched Posies stamp set.  Love them both.

I love scrapbooking.  It gets me all mushy inside when I scrapbook the memories of those I love!

Off to complete the agenda!  Maybe I should start it with a Starbucks?  Ha, that's an EASY answer!!

My last Club in Colorado Springs!

I felt a little emotional today.  Partly because things are "ending" here in Colorado Springs.  I held my last club today.  I called them the Pink Flamingo's.  Each of my clubs have always had a name either by an Ink color or DSP.  It had to be catchy and something I could remember.  My club members are like my family members.  I've gotten to know them and they have gotten to know me and my family.  I've loved how some of these ladies did not know each other in the beginning but learned to love each other and became friends throughout their club.  Many of them will continue to stamp together after I leave.  THIS is what I love about stamping.  It's something that can be done with a group of friends and we can share what we love together.  Great feelings.  Now the Pink Flamingo's will fly on their own.  Thank you to all my club members for all your support and bringing many happy, funny memories to my home.  I think my SCRAP club will go down in the history books for the FUNNIEST things that happened here.  ROFL!  Hmmmm…..

Okay, time to focus!  I want to share with you a project we did at the club.  This is super EASY and fun.  It was inspired from one of my Scrapbook magazines.

To make this I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 9 x 4.  Score the cardstock at 3 and 6".  I used the Storybook DSP for the bottom of the accordion book.  ***Note, the front piece was snailed on.  The other two pieces I created pockets to fit the tea bag or a gift card using sticky strip.***I love this DSP and I think it's missed quite honestly because you have to touch it… It's a great designer paper to make boxes with because of the thickness.  The butterfly was die cut using the Sizzix Beautiful Butterflies Die Cut.  This is a Stampin' Up! exclusive… you gotta have it.  It's yummy!  I stamped it using the Elements of Style stamp set and Whisper White craft ink.  Then I embossed with White EP.  The cardstock I used for the butterfly was Crushed Curry.  Sniff… I am going to miss that color.  The FUN, FUN, FUN sentiments are from the stamp set Favorite Thoughts.  Another super set.  The scalloped Melon Mambo cardstock is stamped using the fun Punched Posies stamp set.  I love love this set.  I know, it's a Level 2 hostess set but it's stinkin' CUTE!!  I let the ink dry a bit and then sponged lightly around the edges with Chocolate Chip ink.  The butterfly was sponged first with Rich Razzleberry ink and then again with Chocolate Chip.

I hope you like this one.  I have two more projects to share still.  :)

Have a GREAT week.  It's my kids last week in school.  I have to make the most of this week.  Lots to clean out.  I'm counting down the days until my sweetheart is home.  Yippie Skippy! ***5 days***

Oh, have to ask…. Do any of you watch the show Glee?  I am sickly hooked.  I had to download the song Poker Face (Gaga's song) that they sang.  I just have it on repeat and haven't gotten sick of it yet.  Silly, I know!  At least you know what I'm doing.  Bwhhhahhha!

Oh the Mess!

After being in my stamp room the last couple of days, I have now created an organized MESS.  I have found things I haven't seen in a few years.  Today I spent the majority cleaning all over the house.  I found myself jumping from one room to the next and then landed in my stamp room to stamp but ended up organizing and stamping.  I am sure other demonstrators will relate to what happened to me tonight.  I must admit that I am NOT one to stamp at Stampin' Up! Events.  When I go I have all good intentions to stamp my Make n Takes.  However, my mouth gets the best of me and I end up just gabbing away.  I tell myself every event that I will stamp these as soon as I get home.  YEAH RIGHT!  It never happens and I end up just collecting them.  Tonight I found Make n Takes from two conventions ago and Leadership.  YIKES.  Since a few of the stamp sets were no longer available I put them to good use with different stamps.  Here is what I stamped tonight:

I used the Elements of Style and Punched Posies stamp sets from the Summer Mini catty for this card.  This was a make n take from this past Leadership.

I used the Punched Posies on this card too.  The sentiment is a Rub On.  I think these are from the Rub On's that were offered in the last mini.  They are very similar to the Chit Chat Rub Ons which I love so much.

This is super simple card and yet another Leadership make n take using different stamps.  I love the Elements of Style stamp set.

This is a 8 x 8 scrap book page.  It uses the stamp set Punched Posies.  This stamp set is a Level 2 Hostess set that is just AWESOME.  Love that the images coordinate with our punches.

The center of the flower I punched a small flower using the Punch Pack and then put a Bitty Button that coordinates on top of that.  I love the sentiment on this page.  :)

It's way past when I wanted to go to bed tonight.  I have my last club tomorrow night.  I am totally SAD!  I miss my club members already and I haven't left Colorado yet.  YIKES!

Oh, I have one more share…

My sweet girl had her Cheerleading awards party today.  She was so excited because she got an award for her cartwheels.  She couldn't do them when she first started on the squad and now her cartwheel is perfect.  Check out her excitement!

Hope your weekend is FANTASTIC!!!!!

Fairy Dust & More

Still stampin' away here in my little room.  Doing a little packing and cleaning and then more stamping.

I pulled out a new stamp set A Little Bit of Magic (118613) from the new Summer Mini and I love it.  There is something about Fairy's that I love.  Every year we go to the Renaissance Festival with the kids.  I think I am more excited than anyone, but I love to see all the Fairy's and how they interact with the kids. They are just awesome.  Here is one of my favorite fairy's—->

Alexis gets all dressed up every year when we go.  I cannot find the picture of course, but here is a picture of our favorite fairy at the festival.

So, my love of fairy's went into this card.   They are pretty magical!

Of course lots of glitter and shimmer mist is on this card.  I loved watercoloring her.

Now, here are a few of the workshop cards we did at my Demonstrator Event last weekend.  I have more… don't worry.

Here is the Briefcase Book!

I hope you've had the chance to pour through the Summer Mini Occasions Catalog and see how many great products are in this catalog.  Once of my favorite products from this mini and the last have been the On Board Chipboard books.  They make fantastic gifts or great little mini albums you can scrapbook ONE entire story or moment.

For my Demonstrator event this past weekend our theme was Passport for Success.  All my demonstrators have a success story.  This book is meant to be motivational and inspirational when they just need that extra lift.  Don't we all need that?  I love quotes and have them all over my stamp room.  Some of the quotes are my own.  A famous one would be, "Get off your BUTT and WORK!" Or the other famous quote I like to use, "Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!"  I've said this to myself many times this year!

Anyways, I want to share with you the inside of the book.  I hope you can copy and make your own Motivational Quote book or make a Travel book for your Summer Travels.  Even if you're having a Staycation, document it. We are always making MEMORIES!
