Use that ribbon
One embellishment I think we all have PLENTY of is ribbon. I recently had seen a card in one of my magazines that used ribbon like I did in this card. Just a different way to use your ribbon. Think of how many cards you could make pretty quickly like this. I used my Top Note Die Cut that I haven't used in a long time too!

Not sure what happened with the color in this photo, but I used Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette for the cardstock. The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White. It's simple, but fun!
I hope your Memorial Day weekend is awesome. I'm spending time with Russ. Ahhh… feels GREAT!
Elegant and Simple
I love the stamp set Elements of Style and the extreme elegance this set brings. It's beautiful. Tonight I made a TON of cards to send to people that I haven't contacted in awhile due to my crazy household schedule. It's actually quite shameful! I needed a simple card to make but I wanted it to be elegant. The card I am going to show you is one I've seen around the blog world, however I changed it up just a bit. I actually pulled the sewing machine out tonight (YES, Simple just went out the DOOR!) and made this card I hope you like! I have quite a few versions!

All of the cards are basically the same. The only things that changed was the ribbon or the Sentiment. I also used a different color of ink on one of the Butterflies. The butterflies (Die Cut from the Beautiful Butterflies Die) were inked with either Basic Black or Chocolate Chip Craft ink and then embossed with Clear EP. The base cardstock is Confetti. I used that because it was thick and strong since I wouldn't have many layers on this card. The sentiments were used from Stampin' Up! Rub ons and Teeny Tiny Wishes. The buttons come from the Playground buttons. Again, these were pretty quick and simple.
Another day accomplished. Phew! Have a GREAT Thursday!

Digital Craziness!
I've gone a little crazy the past two days with the digital stuff. Just wanted to share another fast digi layout with you. Back to my stamp room tomorrow. <smile>

Next on my list is to make a Hybrid page. Thinking I might do it with this one above. Who knows???
It's been a GREAT day for me. Spent the day with someone that makes me giggle silly. Getting excited for the weekend and spending time with my sweetheart. Plus I created these pages. yippie!
Enjoy HUMP day!

Digi Page! Seriously!
Ahhhh! I am giddy with myself this morning. I did a digi page using the My Digital Studio program from Stampin' Up!. Whoo Hoo! Remember about 3 months ago I said I was going to do one? Well, today was that day!
Nothing fancy, but I DID IT!

Yippie!
There are new downloads for MDS too!
There are FOUR new ones today:
Ticket Corner Punch
Cog Punch
Boho Blossoms Punch
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch
If you have any MDS questions, please feel free to ask. I'm off to get a new hair do!
Agenda Completed! Results In!
I am super excited to tell you that I completed the agenda yesterday! Yes, I didn't blow away from the wind…although if you could have seen my hair you would of giggled. Not so pretty!
I had a super fun time with my kids yesterday. I painted Lexi's nails and she stamped with me. Brandon had a few friends over after school so we had "US" time this evening.
I have a new playlist with some Glee songs I liked. Sickly addicted to the show now. Jeesh!
Then, most importantly… I brushed the dust off a FEW stamp sets and created. Ahhhhhh!!! The sweet sound of tap, tap, tap!
Here are the results!

For this card not only did I dust the stamp set off but my sewing machine too. I just felt the urge to sew on a card. This is the Level 3 stamp set The More the Merrier. I love BIRDS! Skinny, chubby… love them all. I haven't used this set in MONTHS!

Oh, that Circle Circus stamp set. Remember that one? When the new catalog came out last year I used this set on everything. Since then it's been on the shelf crying to be used. Really had thick dust on it. Another set I NEVER pull out and seriously I am just silly is the All Holidays stamp set. OH MY! I forgot what a GREAT set this is. Need a sentiment? Look no further. Isn't that Happy Birthday a fun font? This was a serious simple card. Of course I used my favorite Kraft cardstock (AKA Crumb Cake!!!) and had to pledge the Flock Together DSP due to MASSIVE dust bunnies on it. Love Tempting Turquoise on Kraft. I used Whisper White craft ink on the base of the card with Circle Circus stamp images. I used the new Satin Ribbon (White) and ruffled my ribbon with a little sticky strip.
Last one… I kinda cheated! I actually had the stamped images stamped for about 6 months sitting on my desk waiting to be used. I borrowed this set from my girlfriend and stamped the images and they just sat there on my desk! So I wiped the dust off and created. This card uses NEW colors. Oh boy! The beautiful Cherry Cobbler and Daffoldil Delight are so pretty.

I added glitter and a rub on for the sentiment. This is a 4 x 4 card. Cute and simple. Used the Bitty Buttons again. So fun!
The stamp set used was Greenhouse Garden. Lovely images!! It's a Two Step stamp too.
It's another busy day. Sure hope to get more fun stamping in. I am on a SERIOUS roll and checking things off my list of To Do's. Feels fantabulous!!
