Spring Special Peek-
Hey there friends. I am tickled you have liked the Glassine Paper Bag Album. They will make great gifts for Mother's Day. I hope your Easter was the best ever. While we missed Russ, the kids and I did have a spectacular day. The morning was spent hunting eggs and then our sweet friends invited us over for Easter dinner. I was grateful for a couple of reasons. First, it's always great to spend a beautiful holiday like Easter with family or friends. Since our family is so far away, I was super excited we were invited over. Made me and the kids feel very special. Second… no cooking for me. My friends Amy and Jenny did an amazing job in the kitchen. Awesome food. The kids and I made a few little fun bags with foo foo items in each to give to our friends for the special occasion. The bags were super cute and I'm ashamed to tell you they were not stamped. BUT… the tags are. Bwhhhhhaaahaha!!!! LOL!! A big thank you to my friends for making our day so special!!!!
Here are the tags:

Now here is a card using the Awash Flowers two step stamping set. I love the look of two step stamping.

More details on the cards/tags tomorrow. It's nighty nights for me.

Good things come with patience! I know this has been a highly requested tutorial and I have delivered at a snails pace. Sometimes my little chaotic life gets in the way. <sigh>
I loved this class because I was able to show how you can use the Glassine Bags in a new fashion. You can view the TUTORIAL by clicking HERE! I would love to see your modifications to this little book. So please share a link so we can see! The possibilities are endless!
Enjoy your Easter weekend! Big Stampin' Hugs!

New fun toys!
I'm excited to share a fun card with you today. I used new stamps that you will see coming in the New Summer Mini Occasions. This mini is so awesome. Lots of fun stuff coming your way. It's always exciting to get new stuff.
Here is a card I recently did for a swap:

This card used the Elements of Style stamp set that is new and I received it FREE at Leadership this year. I used the En Francis background stamp very lightly for the background. I also used one of my favorite stamp sets, Friends 24-7 on the Chocolate Chip cardstock. Yummy! The flowers were painted using Craft ink refills and an Aqua Painter and then I added a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds around some of the flowers. So sparkly. On some of the edges I used the fine Glitter.
I hope your Easter weekend is FABULOUS and spent with family and friends.

A few fun pieces!
Howdy friends,
We are back from the big house hunting trip. While I was SO excited to get home, I left behind my favorite person, Russ. Kind of a big bummer, but he will be home in just a few weeks to play here. Yea! Thank you for all your sweet comments and emails. They make me smile and honestly I needed them last week. LOL!
Meanwhile, I wanted to show you a few fun projects we did this month in classes and clubs. With Easter just a few short days away, I wanted to share a few last minute projects you can do, too!

Hopefully you have purchased these incredible Glassine Bags. These are the large ones. I just put a few candies inside the bag and folded the top. I added the Shades of Spring DSP around the bag and stapled it. To hide the staple I made a White Chocolate Bunny by embossing the Chocolate Bunny stamp with Clear EP using Very Vanilla ink stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Once the bunny was cut out I used a Sahara Sand ink pad and sponge around the inside of the bunny and the edges of the bunny. I added a little Rhinestone eyeball for Mr. Bunny and Viola' you have a fun little Easter project.

This picture shows the Carrot Box that my customers made in my stamp camp this month. The carrot is basically a triangle box. For the top of the carrot I used a The Write Stuff DSP and trimmed it to 1/4" x 6". Then once I had the paper secured inside the box, I curled each sheet with my Paper Piercer handle. I added a few buttons for the top and then used the Chocolate Bunny again to make a tag. This time I used a half back pearl for the eyeball. Love the half back pearls. You can find these in the AWESOME Pretties Kit that Stampin' Up! has.
Okay, next up is one of my favorite projects. It is RARE that I make a MAN card. This month I had my club members make this card to learn a few layering techniques and "tearing." While tearing paper may sound so "EASY" for some, others tend to FREAK out over it. I was a FREAK and so I totally get it. Tearing paper is a great way to add texture to your card. I loves it now.
So get Man-ly with Me:

I used lots of my favorite stamps for this card. I used the Sense of Time stamp set for the main image. This includes the clock, sentiment and circle thingies. The background stamp is the French Filigree. OH so pretty!!! Over the clock you can see I used the Very Vintage Wheel. The clock was stamped using Basic Black craft pad and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder then we cut the image out. I love how cutting the clock image out made it pop more on the card.
There ya go. A little stampin' glimpse into my stamp room this month. I still have a few other things on my agenda to show you with some Summer Mini Preview stamp sets. I cannot wait to show you these. So fun!!!!
I hope your week is bright and sunny!
