Gone so Long!

It's been sooooo long since I posted last.  Crazy times in our household.  We are getting ready to travel for Christmas and I am pleased as punch.  I've been trying to pack, finish up business loose ends and get the kids ready for a fun filled few weeks at Nene's (my mommy!) house. Super excited about a bunch of things I have ready to show you.  I want to share some fun club projects this week and I even have a few videos to share.  YIPPIE!!!!

So, here is a pic of a project that we did in my November clubs.  Gotta love the Fancy Favor Box!

A little Vintage Christmas

Good evening fabulous stampers!  Yesterday was so cold and snowy that I had to cancel my Vintage Tags and Ornaments class.  Today was another story.  I was thankful the sun was shining although it was still bitter cold.  I had my class today and I have one more tomorrow.  I love this class and it's a busy busy one.  My stampers are making 16 Tags (4 each of 4 designs) and 4 Ornaments.  I thought I would share a few pieces they worked on today.  These are just a few peeks… I will post more later this week!

This ornament uses the Scenic Season stamp set and the Itty Bitty Box.  I love this box.  It's so easy and uses NO adhesive.  So easy to put together.

I love how the Merry & Bright Rub Ons fit perfectly into the 1 3/4 Circle punches and Ornament punch.  I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates thier products!  Just another perk.  I used the Christmas Cocoa Designer Paper and made a big YoYo and placed it onto a Scallop Die Cut from the Scallop Die Cut #2 for Sizzix.  You can't see it very well, but if you look closely around the edges of the yoyo you will see the chunky glitter I added.  I think this would look very yummy hanging on a Christmas Tree or even a Christmas package.

You can see a peek of my Vintage Tags.  I love the Yuletide Christmas stamp set.  It's a great stamp set for Christmas Tags.  These tags have lots of buttons and bows.  Two of my favorite things.  What are some of your favorite products to use for Christmas projects?

Time to finish up a little more work and then off to bed for me.  Have a great Thursday!

Paper Lace!

Yippie!  I am so excited!  I have a fun video for you today on how to make this pretty Paper Lace on your cards.  I am on this big kick to make anything old looking.  I guess I should say, more shabby!  I always like to use Stampin' Up! products but I really wanted to use Lace on this card.  That's when the idea hit my little brain and I came up with paper lace!  I am sure I am not the first to come up with the idea, but I haven't seen it around.  Here is the card I made:

Here is a close look at the paper lace:

It's super easy.  Watch the video to see how you can make these yourself.  It's super cold freezing here in Colorado.  Snowflakes are still coming down.  I need to learn how to stamp in a Parka.  :)   On to the video!  Russ filmed for me and he pulls a fast one in the video!  I love that man! Anyhoo, enjoy!

Build a Bear Bonanza!

I've been super busy getting prepared for a few Build a Bear workshops this past week.  Friday night I had my first Build a Bear Mommy and Me workshop.  We had a blast here with the kids.  I felt like a kid myself because the Build a Bear products through Stampin' Up! are almost like playing with paper dolls again.  The die cuts and stamps are so versitle and you can use them for so many occassions.

I have lots to share with you.  I hope you enjoy all the samples!  Below you will find all my samples that I shared with the moms and kids.

Lexi had a birthday Friday night as well so we made her sweet friend a Build a Bear birthday card.  See how fun they are!

You may notice that I have a new scallop punch that I used on the card above.  Well I received all my cool new toys earlier this week from the upcoming Spring Mini Occassions.  I am sure you heard me scream!!!  I haven't had  a lot of time to play with those new toys but I couldn't stand it any longer and pulled out that punch (it's a Sale-a-Bration punch… OH BOY!!!)!!!  Felt so good.  This card also screamed for a button!  I can't live without them anymore.  :)

Once again it's way past my bedtime.  I'm starting to wonder if Kimberly has a bedtime. Ha!  I have a few things to wrap up tonight as I watch a few more snowflakes fall to the ground.   It' so cold here. Check out my doggie… she was so cold this morning.  I put her sweatshirt on  her and she was nice and warm.  However she wasn't happy!

Just a few cards!

Super busy in my stamp room lately! Jeez Louise!  I wanted to share a few fun cards with you!Independent Stampin' up! Demonstrator Kimberly Van Diepen

This card was SUPER simple using the Christmas Cocoa Specilaty paper.  Love that Ornament punch and how easy it makes creating FAST cards.  I've also enjoyed the Four the Holidays stamp set.  Love the fonts of this stamp set.

This card uses the Lattice Die Cut and I made it a stencil using the thick Window Sheets and then sponged around the area and stamped the Serene Snowflakes over it in Night of Navy ink.  Love these colors.

If you are looking for quick, fun, fast gift ideas just click on my shop now button.  Stampin' Up! has many great specials going on.  Check my website for more information.  Don't miss out on these great deals.  :)

Okay, gotta run fast…. I have new stamps in the house and my 6 year old touched them before I did.  WHAT????

Have a super fabulous week!

 Big Smooches!
