I went to the pumpkin patch today! Okay, big fat lie. You couldn’t find a pumpkin here if you wanted to because of all the SNOW! However, I have the cute Pumpkin Patch stamp set (116499) that I just love and I played with it for some time. This set is in the Holiday Mini catalog and my daughter had played with it more than I had. I had to play! I have four different designs to show you. Hang on to your pants!

Each of the cards have a similar layout with just a few changes to them. All the pumpkins were stamped using Craft ink. I used More Mustard, Pumpkin, Old Olive Chocolate Chip and Really Rust. All the pumpkins were stamped onto Kraft cardstock. Truly a Kimberly favorite. Each of the cards were stamped on the bottom using the Jumbo Wheel Bright Blessings (115626) using Really Rust ink on Really Rust cardstock. I used a few buttons and different sentiments from Grateful Greetings stamp set. I also used my favorite tool -the Color Spritzer Tool. Such a fun tool.
I loved making these cards.
I have a NEW Stamps/Scraps in the Mail program starting in November. You can check out all the details along the top of my blog or click the links below. These are my two favorite programs. This is the 10th Round of Stamps in the Mail. VERY exciting!!!! Lots of surprises and bonus projects during this round.

Time for me to turn up the heat. I am seriously FREEZING! Have you seen all the snow that Colorado has? I know my Denver friends have much more white stuff than we got. Sorry ladies. Have a GREAT Friday. I have to get the halloweenie costumers ready for our Trick or Treat fun! Can’t wait.

I had put it off for some time but the last two days proved to be the best days to catch up on classroom Halloween treat assembly. With the weather being so CRAPPY and lots of snow falling I was stuck inside. Now I am trying to catch up on all kinds of things. Here is a collage of what I have worked on. Lots of great ideas for you to see.

There you can see all my creations. For the graveyard box you see above, you can find the template HERE. These are super cute and fun to make. I will post supplies later tonight. It’s dinner time and the kids are acting as if they have never eaten a day in their little lives. Stamping must take a back seat for a couple of hours. Jeesh! <smile>

October seems to be the month I have so many friends with birthdays. Now as I’ve mentioned before on my blog that I am the worlds WORST friend in getting birthday wishes on time. Actually, HORRIFIC! That goes for my family as well. Not sure what my deal is? I know I have plenty of cards around this house, but deep within my body I always seem to think that the card sitting in front of me just isn’t good enough? What is that about? Ever have that feelin’?
I’ve been on my toes for a few friends that have been here for classes. Here is one that was so easy to pull together and I loved the results. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Magnetic Gift Box (116796) and imagine my surprise when I opened the package of the boxes and there were TWO of them per package. I was so excited. I didn’t know that about these cute things. These little beauties are so easy to put together. I just wrapped a pretty piece of ribbon and added a tag.

To make the tag I ran my Kraft cardstock through the Big Shot and used my Two Tags Die Cut (115954) which is exclusive to Stampin’ Up! Seriously, a must have die cut. You can use this die cut anytime of year. I stamped lightly onto the tag with the En Francais stamp set (109521) and then stamped that beautiful Medallion stamp set (115223)in Tempting Turquoise at the bottom of the tag. So stinkin’ pretty. The Birthday Bliss stamp set (115442) was used for the sentiment. I used my two favorite colors (today that is) Soft Suede and Tempting Turquoise. Super fun little gift.
Here is another birthday card sitting on my desk waiting to go in the mail. I just need to look at it one more day and then it will be off to the belated birthday girl. Thank goodness she knows I love her dearly despite my crazed birthday card madness.

This card uses Kraft cardstock and Blush Blossom. Kinda yummy together. The stamp set I used is Everything Nice (113818). Fun stamp set to play with.
Well, I need to put another layer of clothing on. I am freezing today. Looks like tomorrow is not going to be any better. Again, great days to sit inside and stamp away!

I’m in my stamp room this morning working on lots of things dealing with pumpkins and skeletons! Trying to finish up a few projects for the kids school parties this week. My kids Fall break ended two hours ago. They are back in SCHOOL! Of course Mother Nature extended it by two hours this morning due to icy roads and snow. UGH!
Anyways, I wanted to share a fun card with you this morning. The stamp set Pumpkin Patch (116499) for 22.95 is a great set to add to your collection. The beauty of this stamp set is you can use it for more than just pumpkins. This set is very versatile. I see balloons, Christmas lights, Eggs and much much more with it. I love a stamp set that I can see WAY outside the box with.

I typically use Classic ink on 98% of my paper crafting projects. For this I used Craft ink for my little pumpkins. I really do like how Craft ink gives a muted effect when stamping on paper. You just need to give a little time to dry. I used the gorgeous Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper and mounted it to Chocolate Chip cardstock squares. I’m not quite sure where I was going with this card, but here it is. I just like the pumpkins. I am working on a few more pumpkin cards today.
Make sure you are checking the NEW deal of the week on the right side of my side bar. Stampin’ Up! has really provided some great deals this month. I love these specials. Check them out and don’t miss out! Order on line from me and I will send you a little hand stamped gift as a "Thank You".
Time to get back to stamping. It’s soooooooooooooooooooooo quiet in the house. I love it.

Have you ever started a card and NOTHING goes the way you want it too? Hence the title of this card today! Painful Santa. I had plenty of ideas swirling through my head. I wanted to paper piece him using some of the beautiful pattern paper I have from Stampin’ Up!. Each time I did it my Santa looked hideous. So straight to the trash he went. My friend Cathy was stamping with me and we laughed so hard at our creations because they were just that UGLY! We kept telling ourselves, "How can two creative people create something so horrific?" Well, we did. After one hour of laughing at this crazy Santa we did come up with something we liked.

This chubby cute Santa comes from the set Just Beclause (116640). He is super cute and has loads of possibilities, except my brain was not working the way it should have the other night. I also used the stamp set Four the Holidays (116921) for the sentiment at the bottom. GREAT sentiment stamp set. To create this card I used Black Craft ink to stamp the Santa and then clear embossed him on Kraft cardstock. I colored him using a blender pen and inks. I used my White Gel pen for the white on his beard and coat. You will notice I used the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder (116824) on the side of the card along with my favorite Taffeta ribbon…Kraft! Lastly I added some buttons from the Playground Designer Buttons (116313). I love BUTTONS!! It’s another fun kick I am on!
I hope your Sunday brings a little sunshine to your day. It’s not looking very sunshiney here in Colorado but I have hope!
