Hello Johnny!

I guess I should explain a little bit.  I just love Johnny Depp and I love him as a Pirate!  Something about that nasty hair that rocks my world!

At convention, my girlfriend Mary Jo was sitting next to me and she pulls out her iPhone and says to me…."Ya know, when I’m having a bad day, I just pull out my Johnny!"  There was a beautiful picture of Johnny on her iphone!  I laughed so hard because as our friendship has grown you find out the crazy things about each other.  Of course I stole her picture and put it on my own phone so I can enjoy the picture too.  Well my friend, the sweetest thing she is sent my daughter something the other day that made Alexis STUTTER!  Alexis, my 6 yo,  thinks she is a demonstrator (and don’t tell her any differently!) and loves the Pony Party stamp set.

Of course I told Alexis to put it on my desk.  I wanted to take a picture of it.  Well, that didn’t happen.  She took it to her room and she says I can have NO part of it.  WHAT???  If you think the front of this is cool, then you need to check out the real deal!  The inside will blow you away and you will understand why my girl STUTTERED!  Go see for yourself…. Beauty Lies Within.

The story goes on…  Alexis told me (dictated more like it) that I must make something special for Mary Jo.  Since I am still laughing at our shared love for our hunk of burning love Johnny, I decided to make a card that her and I would relate too.

I can’t thank her enough for thinking about my sweet girl.  The fact that Alexis has an appreciation for stamped artwork blows me away.  This little gift means so much to her and it’s a treasure…just like my friendship with my sweet friend Mary Jo.  Her FRIENDSHIP is something I will always treasure!  Once again, this business is about friendships to me.  I’ve made many and I adore each of them.

So let me tell you about this card and what it takes to make your own "I love Johnny Depp" card! <sigh> LOL!

Texture Plate Trick!

It’s that time!  I have another Video for you and this time it’s a trick using the Texture Plates.  Stampin’ Up! has a beautiful assortment of Texture Plates and I love to use them on my projects.  I am often asked how do I get such a defined texture from the Texture Plates.  I figured it would be so much easier to show you on a video.  I hope you enjoy this little trick!

Here is the card I am demonstrating in the video.  I used our new product, Sweet Treat Cups from the Holiday Mini Catalog!  Are these not just the cutest things ever?  I am in love with the way these look and how fun to give a treat like this in a card.  They even come with special envelopes so you can mail them.  WOW!  The best part is these little Sweet Treats are only $2.95 for 12 of them.  WOW-again!  You can order these new additions by simply clicking on my Order Online button.   Easy as pie!
