Halloween just keeps getting better!
Who can resist this new Halloween stamp set? Who would think that Halloween would look pretty? I think this card puts a little elegance into the Halloween Holiday. It’s crazy! I just have a quick minute to show you today. Check this out.

I used the Top Note Die Cut to make the cool little medallion in the center of the card. You can view this post to see a few more details on how to make this. I used the From the Crypt stamp set again and I love this image. It’s beautiful yet there are spiders in it. WOW. I used White Craft ink on the Basic Black and I think has a stunning look. Almost looks like DSP! For the teeny sentiment, I used Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Have a fabulous week!

The Medallion and the Scrapbook Page!
Hello stampers! Tonight I held one of my long time favorite classes. "It’s ALL about Me!" It’s a scrapbook class I have been doing for years and it started a long time ago in one of my favorite Scrapbook Stores in Jacksonville Florida! We would get together once a month and scrapbook all about US! It was also a great time to get together and learn about each other and the class formed many, many friendships. I miss those great friends! I’ve been scrapbooking since 1996! In the beginning it was all about me and my husband. Then the kids came along and it was scrapbooking all about them. 22 books later and looking through those books there were not many pictures of ME! I was the one behind the camera, always. I also had a friend battling cancer and she had children. She wanted to leave her LEGACY behind so she started a scrapbook about herself. What a brilliant idea. So, "It’s ALL about Me!" started. I want my children to always know the little bits and pieces of my crazy self. Deep feelings of WHO I am, my beliefs and things I love are things I want them to remember. After many years of doing scrapbook pages like these it’s fun even for me to go back and look at the layouts. Some of them are hilarious as I look back at the MANY hairstyles I’ve had. I am sure you can relate.
We gathered tonight to start another round of "It’s All about Me!" I wanted to share my fun scrapbook page with you. I couldn’t help but use my favorite stamp set and I added other fun new toys I think you will enjoy!

I haven’t journaled on this page yet, but the pictures tell my story here. My favorite things are Starbucks and the Beach. I only wish I was drinking a Starbucks on the beach right now! This page uses ALL new toys! The beautiful Lattice you see on both sides of the layouts are from the new die cut called Lattice (115958 21.95). This is a Stampin’ Up! exclusive and what a beautiful die this is! The way I used it on the page almost gives it a faux embossed look. YUMMY! At the top of the layout I used the Melon Mambo ink and stamped the Medallion. The center was stamped using Melon Mambo ink and the Favorite Things stamp set (115436 23.95). Super fun stamp set and great for scrapbookers! For the title I used another new Big Shot die cut called Simple Letters (115960 89.95). This is yet another FABULOUS Stampin’ Up! exclusive and I just love this font. Because these alphabet are BIGZ dies you can cut up to 50 different materials with this die. Think felt, fabric and chipboard. So yummy! Another fun product I used was the Modern Label punch that fits one of the stamp sets PERFECTLY from the Favorite Things stamp set.
I hope this inspires you to pull out your scrapbooking supplies and start your own "It’s ALL about Me!" album! Leave your own Legacy behind.
I have one more thing to share tonight. Seriously, don’t laugh at my Martha Sewing skills… Yesterday both kids had to have a tooth pulled. It was a DOUBLE tooth fairy night! I almost had a panic attack because we only had ONE tooth fairy pillow. Oh what to do?? My genius 6yr old daughter thought mommy should make her one. In her eyes I am Martha and quite frankly I don’t want to change that yet. <sigh> So, I had some fabric laying around and I pulled out my hardly used sewing machine and got to work. This gorgeous tooth fairy pillow was stuffed with yarn (no stuffing around the house) and worked like a CHARM! Alexis was so excited she walked around with it all day. These are the little things that just make a mommy happy!

One last note… Today I have been married to my PRINCE 13 years. I still get the silly butterflies with him. He is a GREAT guy and puts up with all my antics. Unfortunetly my sweets lost his only Uncle on July 4th to a sudden massive heart attack. He is flying out today to be with his family in Iowa and then I will fly out on Tuesday to meet him and be there for the funeral. It’s so sad to see our loved ones go. We will miss this great man!!
I hope you have a super weekend and stamp something pretty!

You just have to TOUCH it!
Wish you were in my stamp room so you get a real feel of the fantastic texture going on with this card. Check this out!

The texture really pops on this card. Tonight I had my Big Shot School. We do four projects and really use every type of die known to Sizzix. I try to give my customers as much info in a couple hours as I can of all the great uses they can do with this fab machine. One of the best dies I think is just a MUST have is the Top Note die cut. You can make every animal face, body as well as boxes! Another thing my friends learned tonight was a how to turn this great Top Note Die into a Medallion or Circle with cool Design! Not really sure what to call this, but I like it. All I did was cut the original Top Note and then continue to die cut the same top note by lining up the points and turning the Top Note each time. I think I ran the same Top Note through 4-5 times until I got the desired look. Really fun.
Now, about that texture! This new embossing folder is just the bomb! It’s called Final Press. This is a Stampin’ Up! exclusive and it’s so pretty. Here is a quick run down on how I made this card:
1. Stamp Medallion stamp in the corner onto Kraft cardstock using Bashful Blue ink. (WOW that looked so nice to me!!!)
2. Using Final Press Embossing Folder, emboss Bashful Blue cardstock (2 x 5 1/2). Wrap Bashful Blue Taffetta Ribbon around card and tie in a pretty bow.
3. Using Circle #2 Die Cut, die cut large circle. Run through Final Press Embossing Folder.
4. Using Kraft cardstock, die cut using the Top Note die to get the Medallion looking thingy I did. See dircetions above.
5. Using Bashful Blue cardstock and Stampin’ Up! Thanks embosslit, die cut the Thanks embosslit and attach a silver brad on each side of Thanks. Using Bashful Blue ink, lightly sponge over the embosslit and the Large Circle. Attach all elements using dimensionals.
Those were pretty brief instructions, but I hope you get to make one yourself. You just have to touch that wonderful texture. I love it.
Continuing on the Medallion mission I’m on, here is another card I have for you!

This card I used the Medallion stamp with Old Olive ink on the Cottage Wall DSP. You can see it but I did add a little sparkle of dazzling diamonds on the little circles. So fun and bling blingie! This card uses the Stampin’ Up! HI Embosslit and the New Stampin’ Up! Perfect Details Textruz Plate. Another new fav of mine.
You may not believe this but I seriously have about 4 more projects with this stamp coming your way. I just finished a scrapbook page with it. SAY it isn’t SO!
It’s off to bed for me now. It’s been a crazy creative day. This brain needs a little rest a roo!

Fancy Favors and All Occassion Tags

I pulled out my new Exclusive Fancy Favors Die Cut box today and had a blast decorating it with new products! First, this is a fantastic box. This box is 3" wide and 3 1/2" tall. Super box for any favor! The delicate fancy border at the top of the box just screams "Special Gifts"! I love it. I decided to try a few new products and a stamp set I’m glad to see made it to the new catalog!

My favorite thing about this project was the colors. I love how Soft Suede and Tempting Turquoise has a nice vintage feel. I punched a 1 3/4 circle in the center of the box and used a window sheet inside the box so you can see the fun tags inside. (I am forever grateful to Stampin’ Up! for bringing these back! Yee Haw!)
I stamped the Medallion stamp set onto the Fancy Favor box using Soft Suede Ink. I then stamped the Medallion stamp onto Kraft cardstock using Tempting Turquoise and punched out the center using a 1 3/4 circle punch. I added a Build a Brad in the center of the Turquoise stamped circle. The sentiment comes from the Great Friend stamp set and I stamped that using Soft Suede ink and made a banner. Of course I lightly sponged around the box using Soft Suede.
As for the tags… I die cut these using theStampin’ Up! Exclusive Two Tags onto Kraft cardstock! Wow are these great and will get plenty of use during the upcoming holidays. You will love this die cut. Again, I used Soft Suede and Tempting Turquoise ink. The sentiments on each of the tags come from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Pefect sentiments that fit in NUMEROUS punches from Stampin’ Up!. I also used Button Latte and Playground buttons. The new Playground buttons are SO fun! I used the Jumbo Eyelets at the top of each of the tags and even added a splash of color using my favorite Spritzer tool. Lastly, I couldn’t help but add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Oh so pretty!!! The moral to this project… the Fancy Favor Box is FABULOUS!
I have plenty more Medallion projects coming your way in the next few days. Whoo Hoo! Have an amazing Tuesday!
