Glass Etching x4
Sometimes it takes 4x to get it down to the perfect science. Sometimes even the fourth time isn’t perfect, however I think this one turned out pretty darn good.
I think glass etching is beautiful and add some RAW Vinyl (yes, Stampin’ Up! sells it and it’s soooooo good!) to the project with your awesome Big Shot and you can really make a glass etching project into something beautimus! Check it out:

Okay, so I admit, this picture does it NO justice…. how about this:

Now, here is a close up!

I gotta run quickly, but I just had to share super duper quick. Details later tonight.
Materials:
Stampin’ Up! Raw Vinyl, Big Shot Serif Essentials Alphabet, Flower, Daisies #2, Corduroy Buttons, Armour Etching Cream
*Note, the thicker you put the Armour Etching Cream onto the stencil, the better result you will have. This is advice from a girl and 4 schmuckatelli plates later….

Stamper or Scrapbooker?
Or how about both? The GREATEST thing about papercrafts is the fact you can get so many uses out of your supplies. Today I’m going to share a scrapbook page as well as a card using the same supplies.
Here is the Scrapbook Page:

This is a 6 x 6 page using the stamp set Sense of Time. This set comes from the Occassions Mini catalog. I love the vintage feel of this stamp set and it would make great MAN cards. Now here is the card I made using the same supplies:

I did the exact same things on this card as I did above on the scrapbook page. With this month being National Scrapbook Month, I hope you are finding time to scrapbook your wonderful memories. I challenge you to make a scrapbook page with your stamping supplies and then turn around and make a card. This is a terrific stamp set to stamp and scrapbook with.
Materials:
Stamp Sets: Sense of Time
Cardstock: Kraft, Chocolate Chip
Ink: VersaMark, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Corduroy Buttons, Gold Embossing Powder, Cutter Kit, Chocolate Chip 5/8" ribbon, Vintage Brads, Dimensionals, Linen Thread

Really, I’m there for YOU!

Isn’t this Just Beachy stamp set so cute? Love it!
I hope all my Mommy readers had a fantastic day yesterday. I spent all day in my stamp room and was in heaven. It has been a busy week with company, my sons birthday and then Mothers Day. All in all, it was GREAT!
This card was made in my watercolor class last week. We focused on Watercolor Pencils, Watercolor Crayons, and Ink pad watercoloring with Blender Pens and Aqua Painters. It was a fun class! The above card used Watercolor Pencils. Quite honestly, not something I pull out very often, but they blend beautifully with both the Blender Pen and Aqua Painter. I used the Scallop Oval punch and cut the punches in half to use as a different scallop border under the card. Gave it a different look and a new way to use the Scallop Oval punch which I love. I also used the Polka Dot Textured Plate on the Tangerine Tango cardstock.
Now I am off to a demonstrator shoebox swap. I love these events as I have some VERY talented demonstrators that attend. Plus its a great time to catch up with these ladies.
Have a fabulous day and I hope you get the time to stamp something pretty this week!

Canvas & Stencils

I think my Stenil blitz is almost over, but I hope you have been able to see the numerous projects you can make with this great product. Todays project uses the stencil on Canvas. I love making these scrapbooking canvas because no one ever pounds on my door to see my scrapbooks. However, when they walk in my door, this is what they see. I have them all over the place. I used Acrylic Paint on the canvas with the stencil. Worked like a charm. Even better was using sponge daubers with them. Here is a close up:

I also used Acrylic paint on the pretties flowers. You can see all the products used at the bottom of this post.
Okay, so I rarely save any retired sets unless I can see that I will use it for a craft fair or for one of my darling kiddo’s. Last night I had to make FAST invitations for Brandons birthday party this coming weekend. As usual, riding by the seat of my pants. I used the retired set Ahoy Matey. I miss this stamp set. Here is his invitation and needless to say he was a tickled pirate when he went to bed last night.

I LoVe that Circle Scallop Die Cut and then I used the Textured Impressions plate #4 for the bottom of the card and it looks so REAL!!! In fact, I have a trick for the textured plates I hope to video soon. *wink*
Anyways, I know the set is retired but you can see I had fun making these little invites. Now to finish the party planning. YIKES!
