Sassy Scrapbook Page!

Good morning everyone,

I am moving pretty slow this Sunday morning!  I am just grateful to see sunny blue skies today and not all the snow we were seeing yesterday.  While not much of it stuck to the ground I felt like I was Dorothy in Kansas yesterday with all the wind.

The other day I had a few moments to scrapbook a picture I truly love of my downline at convention last year.  This picture just brings happy memories as all of them are GREAT women.

I used the new Summer Love Rub Ons from the Occassions Mini and the new stamp set Great Friend.  Love how these to products coordinate so well.  I also used the new Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper!  At the top of the layout you can see I used the Designer Hardware Hooray that says, "Friends Forever" and around the hardware I used the new small Grommets and placed a little Crystal Effects in the center and then a little fine glitter from the Fine Supernova Stampin’ Glitter.  The Kiwi Kiss Polka Dot ribbon comes from the Ribbon Originals Pig Tails.  Super cute ribbon.

Time for me to get my day going.  Maybe another cup of coffee will do it.

More Fun with Rub On’s!

I just love Stampin’ Up!’s line of Rub On’s.  When I buy them I almost find they are sacred and put them to the side and stare at them.  I know I want to use them, but find myself hoarding them!  Ahhhhh!!!  They are so pretty in the package!  The last couple of days I have pulled these sacred beauties out and put them to use.  Todays card uses the Planter Box Rub On’s.  They coordinate beautifully with the Petal Pizzaz stamp set.

The card size ended up being 4 x 4.  I stamped the flower from Petal Pizzaz and let it dry for a few minutes.  Then used the rub on directly over the flower.  Oh I love how this turned out.  Then I added one of the delicate Fleurettes in the center of the flower and also added a 5/8" neutral brad in the center.  You will notice that I used a small rub on in the center of the 5/8" neutral brad.  TIP:  Take a sanding block and rub gently over the top of the brad and then use the rub on.  This will help the Rub On stick to the brad.   Lastly, I used the stamp set , "On Your Birthday" and stamped Let’s Celebrate.

I hope your weekend is filled with wonderful things!

Pocket of Tags

Well I am super excited about one of the projects I worked on today.  I pulled out some of my new fun toys as well as some old goodies.  I’ve had my Pockets & Pieces Office Accents for quite some time and it has collected enough dust!  Pockets and Pieces has many great Kraft printed designs that you can do so many projects with.  Today I made a Pocket of Tags.

The front of the pocket uses the new Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper.  Very yummy paper!  Then I added Kraft cardstock and used my new Rub On’s Summer Love!  I used these Rub On’s on all the tags as well.  WoWsEr!  Love these rub ons.  I used the new Oval Scallop Punch to punch out the Rub Ons and used the small oval punch to punch out "smile".  Another fun new product I used a lot was the new Grommets.  Holy cow these are fun!  Lastly, I used the new delicate 5/8" Satin Ribbon.  Here are each of the Tags:

Hope you enjoyed my project for today.  Putting this together was super fast because of all the Rub On’s.  Most of these products are in the NEW Occassions Mini!  Click on the catalog on my side bar or shop online with me to get these great products for yourself.

Tootles until Tomorrow!

Hoppy Easter layout

Well, after writing a long post on my Hoppy Easter layout I lost my internet connection and poof, it was gone.  I can only blame it on the nasty white fluff I see out my stamp room window.  Grrr….   I also learned where the save button is tonight.  *smile*

Anyhoo, let me show you what I have been up to here:

If you are a Big Shot fan, you should know by now that the Top Note die cut is one of the most versitle die cuts out there.  You can make every animal known to man.  Including this sweet little bunny!  I used lots of circle and oval punches on this layout.  The flower centers have Filigree brads in the centers.  I just love these brads.  I used the new wheel, Egg Hunt from the Occassions Mini Catalog that is available NOW!  If you haven’t received yours, just click on the catalog on my sidebar to see the awesome stamps and accessories available to you.  I am super excited about this catalog!  The Carrots on the layout are made using the Trendy Tree’s Stamp Set.  How fun is that?  If you like that stamp set, make sure you check out my new Class To Go, A Trip to the Funky Forest.  Click HERE to read all the details!!

Another fun project I have been working on:

This card uses the stamp set Wagon Full of Fun from the Occassions Mini.  I watercolored the Duck, Wagon and Eggs on Stampin’ Up!s fanatabulous Watercolor paper using a blender pen and ink pads.  I used the 5/8" Brad Neutral Assortments for the wagon wheels.  Very fun!!  The Designer Series Paper is Sweet Slumber that is terrific.  This is a thick designer paper and I love it.  Perfect to make boxes or any fun 3-D project with.

Well, time for me to stamp!  I have a fun demo meeting this weekend that I am gearing up for.  Whoo Hoo!
