So much to be Thankful for!
I have been so busy working in my stamp room on MUCH needed things. I have TONS of thank you cards to make! I have a list of people who have blessed me over and over again and I just need to shout from the mountain that I am thankful for them. Since I am scared of climbing that mountain here, I made cards. ***smile***
I have many many things to share with you over the next few days. So stay tuned. I think you may like a few of them.

This card uses the Petal Pizzaz stamp set with Baja Breeze and Pacific Point Inks. I also added a little Real Red into the mix and Iridescent Ice all over the stamped flowers. The sentiment comes from the Thank You Kindly stamp set. I stamped it on my NEW Stampin’ Up! Lots of Tags Sizzlet. I just love this new die cut. WOW!

This card really doesn’t use anything new and I’m okay with that. This stamp set Wonderful You is now on the Dormant List. It’s such a beautiful stamp set. I have a few friends that have lost precious family members in the past few weeks. I just want them to know that I am thinking of them.
My last card I want to share tonight

This card is super simple, but has a product on it that I am just THRILLED with. Stampin’ Up! now has Texture Plates for your Big Shot. WOW! They are fantastic. Listen to my warning!!!! Read the directions on your multipurpose plate so you know how to sandwhich all your goodies when using the texture plates. Just know, I have tried it the wrong way and everyone on my street heard the loud screams. My eyeballs are still not in the correct position after almost buggin’ out from the mistake I had made. It wasn’t pretty my friends. Really!!
The card above uses the Stampin’ Up! Texture Plate small dots. I love it. It also uses the Stampin’ Up! Lots of Tags under the stamp set,Only Ovals. It fits it perfectly! I also used the Chit Chat Rub On’s. These are my favorite Rub Ons! There are TONS of sentiments in these Rub ons. GREAT purchase!
It’s time for me to hit the bed! Have a super Monday! It’s freezing HERE!

Plain busy!
Yes, that explains the last 4 days in my house. Planning, creating, celebrating, teaching and jamming out on the new Guitar Hero World Tour! Yes, me and the drums are COOL! Honestly, it has been a complete whirlwind of a week but it’s been good. We had our birthday party for Alexis on Saturday and my little 6 year old was a princess all day. She woke up way to early and was ready to party bright and early. It was so much fun.
During all this craziness, I have stamped lots. Here are a few projects I can share with you.

I used the Bella Toile Stamp set for the background and added punched circles in the same color over the background stamp. If you look close, the circles were stamped with the Bella Toile too. I really love the rich look of Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock. The rest of the card uses the Together Forever stamp set. One of my favorites. I stamped the large flower circle in chocolate chip and punched the inside circle with a 1 3/8 circle punch. Then I punched the entire thing out using the 1 3/4 circle punch. Then I stamped the flower onto another piece of cardstock in Riding Hood Red and placed it behind the chocolate chip piece. Love how the Pretties Kit added a delicate touch to this card.
Now this project is one I did for a recent stamp camp. This cute box was inspired from one of my demos here in Colorado Springs, Sam. She is super talented and she made me a box similiar to this at Christmas. I thought it would make a great little box to put love notes inside.

I used the Love Wheel on the Top Note Die and then added a little glitter inside the hearts. The heart on the flap of the box comes from a new Level 2 hostess set. Isn’t that a fun heart? It will be even more fabulous when I get my heart punch to punch it out.
Here are the love notes to go inside the box.

Easy little note cards.
Ready to make your own? Just click on the highlighted area and enjoy! Top Note Valentine Box
*****EDITED to ADD: I fixed an error on the Directions to this Box. I had listed the Scallop Envelope Die Cut and it should have READ Scallop Circle Die Cut.*****
Have a SUPER day!!!!!

Valentines Scrappin’

Thought I would share a few scrapbook layouts tonight. If you are like me, you probably like to browse the scrapbook magazines to get a few ideas. This morning when I was browsing, I noticed a common thread on many of the layouts! Layers! Lots and lots of layers. I loved how this looked. On both of the layouts I am sharing I tried to do the same. Take a peek!

For the bottom hearts I used the Petal Card Die Cut from the Big Shot. I used the Hearts Wheel with Real Red Ink and rolled each heart. These can be used for pocket journaling or even to put your childrens Valentines they receive from school parties.

I used one of the Hostess DSP Packs and punched Scallop Squares and 1 3/8 squares from the Real Red DSP. The two Chocolate Chip, and Kraft hearts are Sizzlets. I used the Sprinkles Stamp set to stamp the hearts randomly over them. The "LOVE" is also a die cut! The little heart circles come from the stamp set Happy Heart. I also used Flower Fusion Too flowers, Brads and Buttons. Again, trying to get lots of layers.

This next layout also has lots of layers. I started with Baja Breeze. I then used Going Grey, Basic Black, Basic Gray Textured Cardstock and then added Urban Garden DSP on the bottom right panel. Here is a closer look at some of my layers.

As you can see I added not only stamps, but lots of punches, Buttons, and dsp. The Lovely Letters was stamped and then punched with a 1 3/4 circle punch. The chipboard pieces were stamped with Tres Chic Background Stamp and then popped over the Lovely Letters. Probably not your typical colors to use for Valentines Day, but great for that #1 guy in your life.

Getting it going again!
I wish I could say I was fully recoverd from a GREAT time in Orlando, but I can’t! Today I feel like I actually made GOOD progress on the unpacking and getting to know my stamp room once again. I am really missing the beautiful weather we had in Orlando. I came home to SNOW and frigid air! I went from wearing hardly any clothes to long johns. Jeesh!
Tonight I sat in my stamp room and had a moment of stamp block. It doesn’t come often, but you know how it is. I am still working on Valentines samples around my stamp room so I thought I would play with the Love Wheel and the new Sale a Bration stamp set called Yummy! Sale-A-Bration is just around the corner and it’s one of my favorite times of year with Stampin’ Up!
This little box can be used for so many things but I quickly stuff some conversation hearts in it.

For the hearts that are popped up, I just ran the wheel on a seperate piece of Kraft cardstock and then cut them out. I used dimensionals and then added a little glitter on them. Just a little sparkle adds so much. I colored the hearts on the box with Pastels and a sponge dauber. Boy, I love my chalk.
Here is a better look at the dimension on this box.

Have a SUPER day and more fun stuff tomorrow.

Ut-Oh!
Hello ladies! Just got home from a long day of plane rides and a little news. It appears I may have done a tad bit of a bad thing. I had to delete my sneak peek photos to stay in compliance with Stampin’ Up!’s rules. Out of respect for Stampin’ Up!’s rules, I took the pictures down. So, not a worry. We are just a week away from getting to order from the new catalog. I will post a few other projects and swaps I received once I get settled back in either later tonight or tomorrow.
We also have a WINNER for my Blog Candy Giveaway!
