Crank out Christmas and More!
It’s been a busy day in my stamp room. Lots of stampers were here to enjoy the Crank out Christmas Card class. That’s a mouthful isn’t it? This class is a total of 16 cards, 4 each of 4 designs. These cards are fairly simple and I thought really fun. Three of the cards were COMPLETLY taken from the Founders Circle Swap. I just loved each of these cards and they were perfect for this class. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. There are tons more that I received and you will probably see them soon too.

This card was created by Lynn Wegleitner. I loved how the designer paper was NOT a Christmas designer paper but fit perfectly with this card. The Dazzling Diamonds was such a great touch for this card. Cardstock colors included Baja Breeze and Basic Gray. Great combo!

I just love this elegant simple card created by Penny Thomas. The bow really caught my eye. Super elegant and super easy. My customers really liked this card. It takes a few times to get this bow just perfect, but then it’s easy peasy.

Here is another fun card by Susanne Moyer that I really liked. We all know I love Kraft cardstock and this card was right up my ally. Add designer paper and now you have a super fun card. I loved how the tree from Snow Swirl fit right into the Top Note Die. Really GREAT card.

Our last card this evening used Holiday Line Up. What a FUN stamp set and although it may look hard to watercolor, it’s not. Once again we used a Top Note Die from the Big Shot. Now, Rudolf’s nose was supposed to be red and fluffy but that didn’t happen because the fluffiness took up his whole face. So, we just colored it and added some Crystal Effects. Isn’t that cute?
I better get back to work. The night owl stampin’ juices are in full swing and I am working on a bright cheery card that is NOT holiday related.
Have a FABULOUS weekend!

A Christmas Birdie
I have a super fast post today in between my classes today. I made this card the other night. I will post other projects from todays class later. Yippie! Stay tuned!

Okay, so not a super duper WOWSER project but I personally like the birdie. Kinda reminds me of Shelli’s swap that I fell in love with. I love putting the Top Note Die through the crimper.

Magazine Inspiration!
Once again I have been busy cutting lots of paper. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Before I go to bed I need to unwind with E! TV as well as make a card just for ME! This just makes me happy and makes for great little bloggy posts. I have been doing so much Christmas and other holidays that tonight I wanted something rich and yummy in color and something easy! I decided on this card using Parisian Summer Designer Series Paper. Today, it’s my new favorite paper. Not to worry, tomorrow I am sure this will change. I was completely inspired by the Stampin’ Success Magazine that Stampin’ Up! publishes each month for it’s demonstrators. I love this magazine and the front cover had these colors and I loved it. I am not a Baroque Burgandy fan, however this paper is so rich in color that you cannot help but love it.
I think I love every sheet in the pack. WOWSER!
As for stamp sets, I used Kindred Spirits and Only Ovals. I added a little Chocolate Chip cardstock between the designer papers just to break up the Baroque Burgandy. Loved this because it reminds me of truffles. Wish I had a few here right now. That Only Ovals set is fantastic and works GREAT with the Wide Oval punch! Lastly, I added some Baroque grosgrain ribbon for extra flare and I love how this finished the card.
Here is a close up look:

On a side note from my post yesterday… I just wanted to thank all of you with your amazing ideas and such kind comments. Each of you just made my day. You guys gave me such great ideas on how to use this little box! I love the idea of having friends and family write on little notes what they are grateful for. Very clever. Another great idea was to use it for nuts. Loved the idea to place an ink pad in the box as a gift. It would fit perfectly! Again, thank you so much!
Have a FANTASTIC Thursday!

An Empty Fall Box!
I needed to be a little creative tonight to give my brain a rest from many hours of cutting paper. I pulled out my Season of Friendship stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Mini and decided to play. I just love this stamp set. I love that the tree is so versitale and there are so many ways you can stamp it. I decided to make this box which is super duper easy. I will give dimensions in just a minute. But FIRST…I have a problem. What should I put in this thing?? Should I make some matching cards to go in it? Candy? What would you put in it?

I cut many of those little leaves out and popped them up just a wee bit using glue dots. I edged some of them with Chocoloate Chip ink as well. See that ribbon? That is from the Holiday mini as well. Yummy! It’s FELT. I love it. I also used the new designer paper called Autumn Vine. Beautiful paper.
Now, to make the box… super easy. 6×10 Cardstock. Score 1" on each of the long sides. Then turn your cardstock and score at 5" and 6". I sure do like that birdie. It is sooo cute.
Here is a close up of my leaves.

So the challenge of the night is…. What to put in this little box??? I am up for some suggestions!
Back to cutting! Have a fabulous day!

Back from Founders
Good evening! I am back and trying to get back to reality. I really don’t want to after that mega pamper session that Stampin’ Up! just gave me.
I was so tired last night I really can’t remember going to bed. I have nothing creative to show you tonight but I wanted to share more pics from Founders. This is by far the best trip I have ever been to with Stampin’ Up! I thought I would give you my Top Ten things I loved! They are:
1. Reuniting with friends across the U.S. and Canada!
2. Sleeping in a room big enough for 20 people all by MYSELF!
3. Getting pillow gifts every night! Love this!
4. Waking up to happy ladies!
5. Being able to spend an afternoon with ladies I have admired for YEARS! Jill Olsen, Jackie Bolhuis and Mary Polcin! WOW!
6. Relaxing by the pool and hot tub with top demos and listening to their amazing ideas. Telling myself they are just like anyone else. Amazing ladies who I loved sharing time with.
7. Sleeping with the TV on ALL night long!
8. Spending 3 hours at the spa!
9. Seeing how awesome Stampin’ Up! staff at Kanab work. They work hard. The next time you pick up a wood block, remember that someone actually put that wood block in the case by their hands! WOW!
10. Riding on the airplane with Shelli. I know this may sound so silly to you. For some reason I just knew I was safe on a 30 passenger plane that I needed a pair of goggles and scarf for. Shelli calmed my nerves!
There you have it. Top Ten things I loved. I could write all night! Here are some pics to enjoy!

Thank you for stopping by and I will share more pics tomorrow night.
